    This is from 1967, and the quality of recordings in the late 60's was still mostly primitive, and I hear it in this recording. I love this songs unique flavor.

    Fwiw, it's not stealing when you credit the original, get the license, and pay the royalties. Maneskin likely put some nice coin into the accounts of songwriters Bob Gaudio and Peggy Santiglia. Gaudio was a member of the Four Seasons. Santiglia also wrote and recorded "My Boyfriend's Back" with The Angels in 1963.

    Dig the hand claps moving this tune along. PS, you are the first reactor to hit this original version as far I know! Dealing poorly with the Fame Train is universal from generation to generation. Yes, it was ahead of its time indeed. Thanks.
