You are absolutely right, Sir. Annadaan is mahadaan. It is said by doing regular annadaan many of the problems of life will be resolved. I was once told by an astrologer that doing annadaan on amavasya ( especially thali with different varieties of food ) is very good to get blessings of pitrus ( ancestors ).

I have 2nd and 5th lord jupiter in 10th house with 10th lord sun, 11th lord mercury and 9th lord moon in bhav chalit. I have food in steel utensil. Now I got it. Everything is naturally related. I always chant before consuming anything even water or any food. I chant from BhagvadGita chapter 4, verse 24:

Annadaan on major days - amavasya, purnima, chhaturthi etc. is very important. If can't keep langars, feed animals. Karmic debt falls for you to rise. Amavasya evening light up diya for as a guiding light for your ancestors. You shouldn't eat anywhere and everywhere.

Altough this could be my personal experience than generalised one.Ek community Jo ki earthly elments ni khati ,donation bhut krti hai,yet mujhe to aisa lgta hai ki bhagwan ka nyay kahin hai bhi ki ni.agar koi nonveg na khaye aur insaan ko cheat krke khaye ,to us community ya person ke sare gunah maf ho jate hain kya?

True, I have observed another rich community who eat non veg and rich food, do lot of sewa, make donations, help the needy, provide food to rhe poor and is also a rich community not in India, but worldwide too. So, it's not about the food. It's about how and what you follow whatever be your religion.
