Thanks for the video! I have so many questions but I’m drawing a blank right now lol! I’ll come back.
The only one I can think of now is: what about Montessori didn’t click with you? I’m trying to get as much info about it before I commit. Also, do u have any resources that u would recommend to learn more about it? Books, podcasts, anything really

One of the biggest things was a Co. teaching was really really challenging for me. If you don’t click with your coach teacher, you’re still with for eight hours a day and that can be super hard! Also, this is personal to my school, but we did not offer certain services that students really needed (special ed)

@@teachingwithangie ok that makes sense. I do think coteaching could be a challenge for me so that’s something to consider. Did you like the freedom of Montessori teaching? I’m most interested in that aspect because I hate feeling restricted, but I can also see how so much freedom could be challenging for me as a new teacher. Also, i don’t have a spouse so I need a job that will allow me to completely support myself. I’m hoping I can find a suitable Montessori school that offers health insurance and benefits

@@kaielyse9313 I think the freedom aspect really depends on your principal whether it’s a public school or private school so at my public school this year I feel like I’ve had a ton of autonomy to do whatever I want, I do room transformations all the time and my principal supports me. I do personally feel like last year I missed that freedom because everything is Montessori. I think a perfect plan would be Montessori in public schools. But if you’re not the type that wants to decorate your room and make anchor charts and create different activities, etc the montessori track might be good because a lot of people love walking into a classroom already having the structure and lessons done for you!
