Love this one!! I also love chergui, santal blanc, the daring la couche du diable, ambre sultan, the potent beast musc kublai khan, borneo 1834, santal majuscule and one of the most evocative fragrances I've tried, dans l'eau qui pétille. Serge Lutens is a great perfume house. I will keep on exploring their fragrances

I have this and love it! I don’t get any smoke from it at all. Rum, chocolate and resins. Dark and sweet. Similar to La couche du diable, but with chocolate. It’s gorgeous.

Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan is really great. I'll order a sample of this one. I did not like Chergui.

I tried it three times(😂), and I'm still not sure if I want it or not. My problem with it is the performance. Although it lasts fine, I really couldn't smell it on me, as the projection is low.
It starts with rum and dark chocolate, then becomes tobacco and cacao.
The magic of this perfume for me is how they succeeded in making a "non-gourmand gourmand." The sweetness is very minimal, which in my book is a big win!

This one doesn't have any milky creaminess that Black Phantom has. Also the smoke might come off a bit off putting for some killing the gourmand edge. but it's quite unique. I hope you get to try it! :)

Anything that has smokiness in it doesn't go well with my skin chemistry. I'm sure I'd end up with BO if I try it on me.

Serge Lutens has some really great scents for sure. The only reason why people don’t talk about them much anymore is because they aren’t giving influencers free bottles.
