The highest velocity of guns were like 300FPS, because nearly all of them were imported from Japan which prohibits guns that shoot over like 1J. In Japan for example, you got girls playing airsoft without any facial covering at all, because the BB hit so lightly it isn't going to scar or anything like here in the US where people associate power with accuracy, and the fact that US fields are a lot bigger than most Japanese fields.
