I didn't use any water to caramelize my sugar. I used low heat and lifted it to prevent it from burning. I prefer the taste when I don't use water while caramelizing sugar.

Hindi po sya tumutigas kahit i-ref ng ilang days. Proven ko na sya sis. Basta ilagay mo lang sa lagayan na my takip. Mas masarap ng malamig kainin

Well I guess iyun nga ang purpose nung rice flour para tumigas/kumunat at maiba naman ang texture nya sa ordinary leche flan.
