Love this but quick question: the pattern says multiple of 12+2 but that doesn’t work out right to allow for a starting chain of 198. 198 is a multiple of 14 evenly. Can you clarify? Thanks! Can’t wait to make this!!!
The multiple 12+2 is for the puff stitch section. (+2 are the turning chains) So the fphdc and hdc, 50 at the beginning+ 50 at the end doesn't count for that. If you to add or skip, you do it with 12 stitches.

If I use 100% acrylic yarn, will it make a huge difference in the appearance of the shawl?
That depends on the texture of the acrylic. If it's a 'normal' one, it will make no difference in the appearance of this shawl.

So which is the side that shows the ridges? I actually have ridges on one side I hope that’s correct. It looks very pretty. Is that the side that’s shows?
If you mean the 'length' ridges, it's correct they are on one side. The side that is shown x
@@Crochething do I need to wet the shawl to make it more flat? It came out so beautiful and it didn’t take long at all. I ended up buying 5 skeins but used very little of the fifth one. I think my stitches were more lose.

Awesome! Hello, I like how Wilma talks about the yarn & hook she is using in her video tutorials before she begins showing the stitches. Can you do the same thing in your videos? You don't talk about yarn or hook. Instead, you just start the pattern in your RUclips videos. It would be nice to know yarn size, yardage, a yarn brand you use & hook size without having to look up the pattern on your blog. If I don't have the same yarn, I know how to substitute. Thanks for considering my suggestion. Have a nice day.
