We triedd this in January and found it fantastic. Almost empty and we settled down on the balcony, with what felt like our pesonal drinks staion alongside. Tip top service too. I preferred it to the Al Safwa, unless you can bag an Al safwa room. Finding was a real issue and we ended up walking, but so worth it when you actually make it.
has this lounge opening had any impact on the wait for showers during peak hour? 2 hour wait in the SOUTH lounge in peak hour is too much for short layovers...
Get a grip, man! 80,000 square feet is not 72,000 square yards - but it is about 7,390 square metres, they say. Probably narrated after too much lounge-bar crawling!
Beaucoup greenery is an excellent way to elevate a space, and quite cheap to do so. I love indoor gardens especially with water features.

Like that water-feature.

I deliberately booked a 9 hour transit so I could really enjoy all lounges at Doha airport lol
