@TheElegantLife Her story was fascinating. This memoir was so good! I am certainly inspired. I now name her as one of my role models for embodying the attribute of beauty and my value of joy in life. Whenever my interest is piqued, I hope that I can summon the courage that she often had. With an idea that truly reflected who she was, not any other expert opinion, in mind, her brave actions transformed her life. I also love that she elevates simple food. Very Italian! I also appreciate that when she uses the word "partner," it means something fundamentally different than husband and wife (or parent and child in her case). I've thought about the topic of two independent people taking care of one another but hadn't articulated it this simple way before. With so many takeaways, I hope this book inspires readers to take action.
