- This is a speedbuild of the Eduard kit, just for fun, out of the box, the build took 2days, I tried some new techiques. Music: Dana Berquist Live @ School Bakery (Toronto) 08 10 2013 (shortcut)
Well, I have to say, I don't generally think the time and effort spent to pre-shade a model is worth it but can't argue with results - great looking model!
AgreeXD.Use glaze tech will be better
Some good questions on the forum here. Although lets hope the nit-pickers also display their models/model building online. Perfect model makers.com! As always learn something and omit what you dont want to do. Great video as I wanted to see the kit before buying. Thank you for your efforts.
A very fresh approach to the old subject of cammo...A very nice presentation...!
The best soundtrack I have heard , and your modelling Fantastic.
Regards Tom
You're not a modeler. you are an artist! very well done this model deserves a medal! 🥇😁👍🏻
Great job
Excellent , well done very interesting use of paint and oils
very good work in the details and painting, I love it, I will follow you to see your next videos. Regards my friend
Great video, thanks!
That is a lovely Fw190 especially in 1/72, very good painting, shading and tonal variation. Well done. Great vid as well.
PS, appreciate the PSI / product annotations
Very well built. But I have to make a comment and I hope that you don't hold it against me:
I see again and again that the seat is provided with a cushion. During the Second World War the pilots used parachutes on which they sat. So they didn't need cushions! On the contrary, the seats were shaped accordingly.
Great work György
!
Gyorgy,
I might have been tempted to stop after the last pre shade color and called it the "harlequin wolf." I thought it looked pretty cool like that.
good job
Very good song for working
Great work
Muy buen trabajo!!
Advil paint palette...inspired!
Stunning!
Such a nice build. Subscribed AF.
Szép munka, gratulálok! Mondjuk mikor ezeket a Dalí-Benetton színeket felraktad, nagyon néztem, mi lesz a vége... :D
Too many pre-shade collours , generally looking good.
Marek Rega i know. Why so many.? The end result does not show it for all the fuss.
Bravo
Sorry, Apparently two cannons are missing, one on each wing, plus the antenna is missing on the right wing.
Good build, but why polish just to have a dull final finish.
You need to have a shiny surface to add the decals and to make them appear painted on. If you try to add decals to a flat (dull) surface, the transparent backing film will show up like a silver background. So you either have to use glossy paint, use a gloss coat, or like György does, polish the surface. After that the decals have been added, you need to restore the flatness by adding a flat coat.
Lovely build! But why the thinners at the beginning?
I'm cleaning the surface with white spirit from grease, fat or another dirt
1/2 Svastika???
RLM 74 in cockpit?
Over-the-top and unnecessary 'pre-shading' which probably only serves to confuse beginners. I'm also not sure about the oils after. I suppose it's just what's trendy at the moment. I'd have spent more time making sure the windscreen fitted properly and the decals were properly aligned. But it still looks good!
I have to agree too much effort on the pre shading especially when you go an add a dirty wash over it. but its still looks great!
I've been experiminting with pre shading having forgotten about this video. Whilst it does look like too much work, I have to suggest all modlers to give it a try, you don't have to use too many colours but It will add quite a bit of depth to the paint work. There are plenty of videos showing one colour or added black basing but you can end up with either a checker board finish or a flat finish that looks like a toy. You have nothing to loose by trying it ou if you don't like it just spray over. I've used this technique to great effect on black night fighters and didn't even use a straight black to do it. So I retract my previous post, I love this technique, probably because painting is my favourite part of the build.
I have the Eduard ME110 Weekend Edition. Not sure about what weekend edition actually means.
Peter Wareham Weekend Edition means without photo etched parts. They are included in the Profi packs.
@@easyjura Thanks Chris
Its the more basic kit.Although A1 quality, fantastic detail and generous parts count. The Profipak version will come with loads of decal options, photoetch, masks and the kitchen sink!
Excuse my total ignorance on the subject, I'm a beginner, but why all the colors (yellow, brown, green, blue, etc.) if in the end all is covered by the grey coats? I mean, the video can't really show how it really looks like, but it's not a 'waste' of paint?
With using many colors for preshade and painting and the main color with thin, semi-transparent layers, you will get a marble-like surface.
looks like a good idea especially watching you do it, however, its seems lost in the finished paint job or at least I can't see it in this video. I do like the idea of layering the paint job. I'm doing this on a black finish night fighter with 3 different blacks.
Please tell me you are not using your table tennis table for your workbench???!!! The ping - pong gods will be angry my friend!
Super ! außer dieser nervigen musik!Ansonsten beide Daumen hoch !!!
Pls remove the music😣
Que pésimo trabajó
