They legitimately have their own automotive industry, which is amazing given how the whole country's GDP is only $15 billion USD. Pyeonghwa Motors is the main one, having been founded by a SOUTH KOREAN CHURCH in Nampo, Pyongyang. It's also worth mentioning that "Pyeonghwa" actually means "Peace" because irony has to exist even in North Korea. It's wack, but you like that sort of crack.

a guy who comes from a soviet family here (kinda) there were barely any soviet cars with pop up headlights, most soviet cars were just simply engineered meaning "no fancy electronics, just a strong simple body and a strong engine"
when my country was still under soviet forces, we would be forced these expensive "sport" cars. Everyone would like it back then. and definetly not cuz if you hated on something soviet back then, you would get arrested
I like how it has just a touch of understeer and drives really stable. Wish I knew how to tune cars like that. I also wish suspension options weren't so restrictive so you could've run that solid front. Better yet, I wish the whole suspension down to the geometry was more in-depth and you could get a live view of the CG, roll centers, anti-geometries and so on. Solid axle (especially dead solid axle and de-dion suspension) aren't nearly as bad as everyone assumes and I'd like to prove it in beamNG.
That feeling when you try building another Cominturismo badly but as a joke... and it's the best one. Is it a feeling of awkwardness? Of pride? Of embracing the mighty Stalinium power of the Motherland with your (our) comrades?
I like that all the cars of this brand are obviously based on real cars. The first was a Yugo, the 1000 was a Pantera, the Capital was an Alfa 155 and this is a Ferrari, haha.
The Cominturismo 1500 could also be considered a Skorost Malchik, for comrades not yet fully prepared for the Politburo. The 1000 is the Komsomolets version. These are all good cars, but the Skorost is a more sporting class. Think of it as going up in size with loyalty to the Party and Motherland! 1000-Proletariat 1500-Party Members Skorost-Heroes of the USSR, Politburo, and its candidates! (Also Masters of Sport)
I'd have made the engine a direct-acting ohc instead of dohc because it's cheaper and lighter. Probably a bit more weight could have been saved by limiting the base block instead of variant displacement too.
This wonder from the land of snow-eating enemies of Eisenhower looks like the unholy fusion of a De Tomaso Pantera and a Bricklin SV-1. I love it. The gigundo sized (totally not a Rambler Marlin) rear window is just the condensed milk on this medovik (honey cake, a favorite in my family along with Hungarian nut torte).
