👍👍looks like a great sight. Thanks for the review.
Nice sight. A definite improvement over the standard sight. Thanks for sharing it with us. Sorry not monetized.
When I saw the thumbnail, I was afraid that this was going to be a red dot sight, and I was suffering existential agony in advance.
But no, it's a peep sight, something that a user of an original 1892 would have understood.
All is well with the universe.
Another great video. Thanks HR
Like those Marlin rifles, thanks Howard
That sight looks fine for range use. That exposed elevation knob on top would make me worry out in the field or woods.
@chipsterb4946 I wouldn't worry about these sights any more than I already do for any sight. Gun sights are like fishing rod tips... I know where they are in relation to everything around me, so I don't accidentally damage them. I'm aware of where my sights and muzzle are at all times, no matter where I am... There's nothing to worry about when I'm in control.
@@clutchcargo1239 I get that. You certainly need to think like that with any scope or red dot. However, there are peep sights from Skinner, RPP and others available for lever actions. They aren’t as nicely adjustable, but they are close to idiot proof.
@chipsterb4946 That's true, you make a good point when you put it that way. Maybe we would like to see a comparison of some of these sights up against each other for ease of use and accuracy.
Testing 1-2-3. Testing 1-2-3. I like all hands-on, good ole American gun and related content videos. Looks like an easy installation and definitely makes your gun more accurate. At $150, it seems kind of expensive, but it looks worth the money. I'll definitely have to check these out for availability. Excellent upgrade, Thanks for sharing.
Was this the rifle your son bought you for father's day? Nice rifle and that looks like a great sight. I'm glad you were comfortable with the lines and esthetics of the sight. All the best!
Super cool looking mounted up. I agree with keeping levers original, this definitely looks leaps and bounds better than throwing some chonky scope on it. great video as always!
Skinner sights shok troop. Robust and drift the front for windage. Nice rifle
Is yourtubes censoring comments? If that’s the case, I’ll just leave another one!
Yes. They have been doing that for a long time.
@@hrfunk not that it surprises me, but somehow I wish I knew what the abolished words are so I could use them selectively! lol
Since the recent "event" they have gotten worse.
I would like to have one of the older model 336s in .444 caledber.
Thank you, i have been wanting a sight like this, (petersol) (sp) not sure of.
Nice rifle cool sights.
Should be interesting and informative here, thanks.
Great video. Question, the dial on the top of the sight kind of hanging off the side; it looks like if you had it in a gun case that the dial could be rotated if the gun moves inside the case. You obviously wouldn't know and could miss a shot. Thoughts?
Interesting, seems like an excellent little site.
wow nice site thank you for sharing
I have never been able to figure out how to hold a Semi Buckhorn sight. What is the purpose of the design ? I don't get it. I have one item with it installed, but ... Use the lower part, the top part, who knows ??
I have a couple Marlin lever guns that have had an adjustable Williams peep for over 20 years. I wonder if this is an improvement.
It’s probably a little more compact. Otherwise, I would say they are comparable.
This is one rear sight I've never heard of.
They are relatively new to the market.
@HR did you see that Hickok45 RUclips channels (3) are shut down, because are primarily sponsored by gun related sponsors post June 18 (?)
Sadly, I saw the same thing. This can only be perceived as a direct and specific attempt by Alphabet to constrain lawful discourse and commerce, due to their corporate ideological proclivities. Of course, non-governmental entities have the right to impose some restrictions on customers - e.g., no shirt, no shoes, no service - but (imho) the time is not too far distant when the Congress will limit the extent of such corporate practices for “social media giants,” simply because they have become a primary source for information for our citizenry.
I saw it, but I’m not sure how that’s going to apply to me. I have a different relationship with my sponsors, so I’m going to have to play things by ear.
@@hrfunk I figured you did, just trying to give you heads up. I didn’t see until late last night.
HR, do you have the link to the sight? I’m having trouble finding it
I can’t post a link because RUclips will delete it. If you search KRA Customs, you should find it.
Good morning, HRFUNK and family. Happy hump day. ☕️🧇🥓🥯🇺🇸. Very cool sight system. That level action rifle. 👌😘. She's. Beautiful
