Brilliant! Argentina has improved hugely. As an All Blacks supporter, I love the fact that no contest between any of these sides is ever a foregone conclusion any more - the up-and-comers are bringing top game in these tests now, and it's so much more interesting to watch!

As an Australian supporter, I cannot agree that no contest is a foregone conclusion anymore. In the last 20 years, the Wallabies have never won (or drawn) two in a row against the All Blacks. In NZ they've managed only one draw in their last 27 games, while at neutral venues only one win out of five. Even their home record is poor: 10 wins, 15 losses, and 2 draws. That really feels like a foregone conclusion to many of us over here. ☹
Australia would lose to Portugal or Georgia to be honest. Argentina well done !
I am glad Argentina could add the killer blow in this game and actually play the full 80 min. This must be the best era of rugby in recent memory, where no one can actually predict a winner anymore. Rugby WC 2023 is gonna be very open. At least 6 teams have a chance!!
@@rossmurray6849 sadly Australian rugby 🏉 is in serious decline. As a Saffa that grew up in the 90s when Australia was a rugby powerhouse and won two world cups. I remember great players like Campese and Michael Liner. Hard tough as nails men. It's sad to see how the wheels have come off of Australian rugby

Coming from an Australian fan, big congrats to Argentina who just outplayed them. Australia's defence just gave three easy tries away, 2 off the kicks and 1 off the back of the maul. Can't beat quality sides with errors like that. The world cup is now wide open for 5-6 teams. How exciting

Hahahaha, don't be so nervous, the Brave Blossoms have outranked Argentina recently and have put up some very good performances, like that unforgettable one against the almighty Springboks. I think it would be a very even game btw Japan and Argentina, neck and neck. Would be nice to create a competition btw Japan, Argentina, Georgia (the country in the Caucasus, not the US state) and Tonga, Fidji, and Samoa. It would greatly help all of those teams, they all neeed to play much more often (and the big boys don't want to play against them).

Having Argentina added to the the tri nations has been a fantastic idea. They’ve played the top teams in the Southern Hemisphere year in, year out and I think that’s only benefitted them. You also have to appreciate that they’ve been competing with two nations that have a lot of Pacific Islanders in their squads. I’m not saying they’re essential but we know how good they are

There is no way AUS nor ARG can possibly win the Rugby Championship. It's between SA and NZ. SA seems to usually use these games for experimenting to a certain degree, so high chances for NZ going forward. But NZ is currently struggling, so high chances for SA too. SA could have easily won this by taking 2-0 on NZ but seems they chose to continue with experiementation on the 2nd match, giving players game time, for world cup preparations of course. SA could still take this.

I wouldn't call your team lethargic. This game was basically high speed and smash everything on your way from both sides. Both sides fought tooth and nail. Stats don't lie and there wasn't that many errors from Oz. Just a bit a bad luck and a bit of good luck for us Argies.
Do you remember that game in Mendoza in 2019? We (Argentina) were leading at half time by 40, I was texting a friend saying I couldn't believe we were beating Oz by +40 at half time... Well, and on the 2nd half, the Wallabies stepped up and scored 60 points.

@@Moreda64 disculpe pero el "ascenso para un hueco entre los grandes" es demasiado simplista para la historia del rugby de Argentina. Argentina ES grande. Somos grandes, lo que no somos todavía es Élite; difícil serlo siendo que ellos vienen compitiendo hace años entre ellos y poco y nada salían de sus giras europeas.. Parte del tier 1 e ingreso al rugby championship a base de jugadores propios y resultados propios (y alguna que otra ayuda, de los hnos Sudafricanos en especial) el rugby se lo debía, no había que pedir permiso pero bueno así se maneja el mundo. De hecho Argentina es creo la única del tier 1 en las que sus jugadores son todos nacidos y criados en la cultura rugbistica argentina. Eso es HISTORIA y GRANDEZA. Élite todavía no pero si se sigue así ya llegará el día donde podamos sentarnos en la mesa con los campeones.
