      Me too and I always make a double recipe like hers I will double! I also add onions and they are beautiful on salads sandwiches and just the way they are. :-)

    Julie I am a few months away from being 70 years old...never have I had a pickled egg but after watching this we will give it a go....do enjoy pickled beets!

    Grew up eating beet pickled eggs. I absolutely love them. Have not seen a recipe where the juice was not cooked. I can't wait to try them. Great job.

      Julie Robinson omg I found the most amazing trick to easy hard boiled eggs. I have always broke then when peeling...
      The trick is to STEAM THEM!! Not boil! Put a lid on and steam a dozen for like 16 minutes.
      Take out. Put in cold water. Roll. And the shells literally fall off... it’s amazing!!

    I used to eat pickled eggs in the 80s...so incredibly tasty...want to make them, have been watching several videos, everyone adds their choice of sweet or savory, I like that your recipe uses cinnamon and cloves. Thanks.

    I only use white sugar,brown sugar, beets and the vinegar and omg. I came here because I'm hungry for a few. Gonna try the cinnamon stick! Thanks for sharing!

      We used Splenda Stevia in place of real sugar…. Awesome… but every thing else was 100 percent your instructions.

    I like to bring the beet juice and the sugar and spices to a boil. I find the flavors mix better. I’d also add some whole cloves peppercorns and a couple bay leaves. Then slice up a Vidalia and put it in the jar with the eggs and the juice and beets.

    if anyone asks for a midwestern snack, like, a traditional midwestern snack, make em a batch of pickled eggs in a mason jar. very good stuff. my gma leaves out the cinnamon but other than that, a very traditional easter appetizer

    I skipped the onion this time on 30 eggs (a flat) but I put in a jar of hot cherry peppers with the brine. two cans of sliced beats, 2 cups of white vinegar, a half cup of apple cider vinegar, 2 cups of water, a cup of sugar, two tbl. sp. salt. It's tangy for sure but in three days the eggs won't be that strong.

      @@JulieRobinson6969 They were perfect for me and my sister who is critical about that greenish ring that sometimes appears around the yoke. She views beets as a superfood, Since I don't eat meat I need the egg for protein and this is a great way to go. Thanks agains.

      @@JulieRobinson6969 When I physically overdo it I get week because of a vegetable-only diet. Pickled eggs are readily available for help. Eggs are mostly used to make homemade noodles. None of the flours are bleached or enriched and the eggs come from decent sources. Thanks again.

    Do 24. They won’t last long. I grew up eating this. My Family is Mennonite & Amish. Love these. We pickle them for a week

      HI JERRY, we don't think k so but if you are concerned about the sugar you can reduce the amount.
