i think I saw this tour at Kilburn National ballroom . I wish id seen them before they went all yuppie and acoustic lol . kidding aside it was a great gig. sort of a no wave coldplay. the thing about the swans is people focus on the brutality but actually all their music is about truth and beauty in its purest form. other bands of that era/locality like sonic youth etc were much more obvious rock and roll spectacle. swans were always apart from that. why they didn't have more hits i've no idea
Caught this tour at the Cotton Club in Atlanta, Georgia. Not my favorite gig of theirs but still excellent. Imagine if these Burning World tracks were captured in studio with this much passion and drive.
