Why do they nerf Spino so much. As being labeled as an apex predator, it doesnt feel like an apex now with the constant nerfs. Im hoping the modded spino brings that back for spino players. This is ridiculous.
The critter footstep volume being lowered is huge, I'm no longer losing my mind listening to them 24/7... However the latest patch seems to have made the low render distance look even worse, it should really be platform based/a settings option. As someone who plays on PC with high graphics I want the game to look good, not be witnessing pop-in and low poly models transitioning less than a few body lengths away from my character. 😔
yeah i understand they dont want to give an advantage to pc players but they could just let u have higher LOD for the scenary and not the other players or critters
As a face tank Rex main I did not notice the nerf 🙂👍 I don’t agree with the Eo changes tho. I felt like it was perfectly balanced to fight Rex, and same for the bars. I don’t understand the cw nerfs at all for those 2
Bars cw was too high, I suspect it will get a tlc next EO did get 1100hp and halved sharpen horns so had a few buffs too, I think it was too unapproachable for basically everything except a Rex hence the change
i played recently and i play as rex and many herbis.... idk what they have aginst nurfiing tail attacks as that help herbis so much. but the rex is just sad now... its gone to kind of dinos to .... meh just another big dino
ignoring barsboldia i actually like the new tail attacks on bigger dinos. it would be cool to have the old ones as an option though so everyones happy. at first i thought it was dumb, but now playing with it its very fun. spoon can get tailriders off, and mid tiers dont get more free dmg as they really dont need it. but also, i might be biased as pycno still has his charged tail and its so much fun to get both effects with the drawback of the long charge up time :)
W video it’s makes sense why they nerd bars is combat weight because it wasn’t that big it’s smaller than stegosaurus in real life and the and they need to buff T-Rex because in real life, it was solo literally everything in the game if they had Shantungosaurus or edmontosaurus in officials it would be more accurate
@VelocciYT RIL bars is only 4-5 tons maybe 6? and daspletosaurus is 3-4.7 tons and sarcosuchus is 3-5.5 tons and suchomamimus is 4-5.5 tons and allosaurus is 2-5tons maybe 6-7+ tons?and Eo is 6.2-6.8 maybe 8 tons?stegosaurus is 5-8 tons and Deinocheirus is 6-8.4 tons maybe 9 tons? and spinosaurus is 4.1-8.5 maybe 9.1-10 tons? Tbf its an adolescent iggy doing that though. Its a forwards based attacker why does it do so much knockback on its tail lol, maybe kick I would understand but tail attack with its range??
I understand bb nerf on some dinos like ano and smaller dasps ect but damn they did Rex dirty on this one . If you don’t play realism og Rex can still be viable but if you play realism servers Rex Very vulnerable now to starvation and being preyed upon due to lack of threat now
Yea im killing sub adults with the rex and its still not filling up the rex hunger so I have to do scavenger rex now... rex really didn't need any nerfs
I think that most states changes are good, but what really sort of ruined this update is the decreased tail attack damage, like u said, this is bad for hadrosaurs. Especially for bars and lamb.
100% area completion requires you to finish ALL of your area challenges even the ones that say you have to defeat 3 of whatever critter it's telling you to plus whatever other area quests come up for that area. And when you get 100% just move to another area of the map for new ones to come and it all over again for that new area.
Barsboldia already wasn't getting much love from the devs but with the tail knockback I have no idea how am I going to fight with it. I guess it could make survival and escape easier, but fights are gonna be much less fun. Not gonna lie tho, I love the new model and animations on the Dasp, it looks absolutely badass now. I've never grown one but that might change now.
Agree with and like just about everthing apart from tail knockback on smaller dinos and my god the the lack of attention and care to see how the bb nerf would affect the most popular dino in the game the Rex and people play dino games just to be one but after this I wouldn’t bother being one or coming to this game to play one
I think the changes to bone break should be similar how damage is to enemies based off combat weight. Low tier animals should be immediately bone broken, mid-apex enemies are stronger so they should be fractured and build up more until they can be bone broken. I was never a Rex main but I do play it from time to time, because it’s iconic and nice to just chill on. I was never an ambusher so I guess the bb doesn’t affect me too much. But to players who really played realism on ambushing on bone break they must not be too happy. From my understanding of bb now it’s just low fracture to enemies regardless of size, and you build it up. Higher fracture with certain skills.
As a good tryrannosaurus player, with the facetank build, even against groups, you dont need bonebreak, even against groups, the bites do so much damage, and the knockback tail is rlly nice to keep others from tailriding. I honestly love the changes, and imo bb was overrated and op. If you rlly still want bb on a rex, its charged bite when fully charged still does emmidiate bb. As a solo im still taking down anything, from dual gigas to 4 achillos :D
You can defend yourself with face tank but you can’t stop things running Rex needs a change, you have to play too defensively for something that is the most powerful land carnivore of all time.
@@Stunters14 not every server uses OG Rex as face tank is only playstyle left but far from its realistic playstyle and in some servers like arazoa realism ect that have a only a pt Rex or players that prefer pt Rex model then you have no face tank no stomp or tail kb they just killed it and it’s the modding community that really make this game and need to think about those dinos as well as their own when rolling out nerfs like this imo Rex should of been exempt to the bb rule as it’s what it’s bite is realistically known far so a realistic playstyle and not op in any way at all to me it’s your own fault if you get bb as you made a mistake and now pay the price as Rex is slow and bb hard to land and is earned if landed and if you get ambushed then it’s a survival game it’s your own fault you should be paying attention to your surroundings and should not get bb and ambushed by something so big and slow
I mean the tail attack thing is a bit of a punch but i honestly feel like that vast amount of dinosaurs dont use their tails to do damage most hadrosaurs either had large thumb spikes or seemed build almost to punch things like a kangaroo things like bars seemed to use their immense size to keep predators away ceratopsians had diminished tails thr only case where i can see full tail use is in stegosaurs and ankylosurs and mybe thats the point they are trying to give different playstyles to different groups. And no therapod should be using their rigid asf tails to smack anything it was literally their primary balance. Does it suck yes but i hope the effected creatures get things to imporve theur individual playstyle.
I get the knockback being added, but what I still don't understand is why tail attack is so nerfed, especially when you're using it with a large animal like Rex. I would think that even with the knockback, the damage could still remain the same or not so heavily nerf. I kinda feel like even with the added knockback, Rex will still be tail ridden to death.
What is the goal to slowly creep every dinosaur to the same cw? Bars and eos weighing as much as cons in the future. Apexes are not the problem its the mix packing, kosing big groups locking down every area near a homecave keeping all their dinosaurs in one place so they can switch on the fly to counter type of stuff thats the problem.
Rex is dead now it’s playstyle as an ambush hunter has been taken from it and its staple move it needed to defend itself aswell as hunt has been taken from it . When you see a Rex you feel no danger as you know it can’t catch you and you only fear it when it ambushes or its bb in a fight if u make a mistake as without it you just get in and out with not much fear knowing it’s too slow to react and can keep chipping away at it but now u can make mistakes without risk of being punished for it when to me I see no reason for nerf on a Rex as if you make a mistake against a Rex that is that slow it’s not the Rex being too op but your own fault and also makes fighting one more fun tbh as there is risk and if you get ambushed by a Rex it’s also not op but your own fault by not paying attention on a survival game and by not seeing something so big and allowing something so big and slow to catch you out where you should always be paying attention to your surroundings so all in all a Rex player spends hours most of time lying in wait to get a successful hunt off to now do all that for nothing it’s bad a real bad super nerf Rex separately needs looking at and adjusting somehow now
@@platinumwarrior1309 ye sadly that’s the only playstyle it has now but you have to be a OG Rex to do that but on some servers like arazoa ect where there’s only pt Rex or on some other realism servers Rex is crippled it’s just a juicy target now unable to defend or feed itself lol it has no stomp no tail kb and no face tank
@@xivengexnceixeso8296 exactly I’m a PT rex player and it has nothing, bb was the only thing I had to fight other apexes or hunt big game, and on top of that tail swing has been nerfed like the pt doesn’t have the worse turn radius ever… crippled my pt rex. Rex has the most powerful bite force of any land animal which was its thing to be known for so why nerf it that bad, they are making these smaller dinos so buffed up that if a rex runs into two ceras or dasp it’s over for it
@ I agree they have killed the Rex only viable suggestion u could make to servers now is to up the weight of things pt can pick up and use clamp ability to ambush but still no good if facing 2 gigas ect
This video is 😍. However, the tail attack damage should be reduced to either 15 or 20 not 5, imagine being whacked on the face by a huge dinosaur tail, ye it hurts, WHY DID THEY INCREASE PACHYCEPHALOSAURUS STAMINA COST, but oh my... those new animations for calls are beautiful. Infinite marks exploit? What? Also the fixed attacks not being performed by the creater in replay is one of the best, I'm happy that's fixed. Foliage moving is such a big step up for games, I LOVE IT. There are a lot of good things accompanied by a few bad things but overall this is great!
I main rex. The fracture and bone break is null and voice. Straight face tank meta. They DID buff the bone snap cool down to only 2 seconds, but considering it takes TWO bone snaps to bone break an Allosaurus, it is not worth it. While using your spring to achieve it, you lose half your stamina The new tail attack knockback makes rex bone break useless
I hope they do substantial ai species like rexes and iguanadon and raptors and and flyers! I recently enjoyed a solo game on single player and would have enjoyed having the added thrill of avoiding predation by something bigger and scarier than my yuty at the time!
Also ai herds of large herbivores and and small colonies of little ai creatures that burrow like meerkats and stuff and flocks of pterosaurs on cliffs and beaches
You know i don’t mind fractured, but i do wish they would up the time of you being fractured. And for instance if i work my butt off to get you bone broke, I wanna be rewarded for having you bone broke not just 5 secs.. if that makes sense
Meh I can understand fracture on certain dinos like Cerrato and certain attacks on dasp but both dasp and trex should just have bone break since path of titans does try to be as accurate as possible to real life and both have bone crushing teeth and jaws now they could vary on the size of the animals there attacking like smaller creatures get guaranteed bone break when a dasp or trex bite it but on larger creatures with stronger bones only a stronger bite should cause bone break where as the weaker attacks cause the fracture. And glad they needed the combat weights of eo and bars oldie yes there both big herbivores but there both in that 5 to 6 ton range irl so a bars should not be able to smack around a 8 to 10 ton Rex now eo having such a large head with lrg horns makes it easily able to defend itself from a Rex irl so the health buff with the minus combat weight works.
Rex has been crippled, no BB? That’s what made them fight worthy vs other big apexes, also turn radius is so bad that we needed that tail hit damage to get around smaller packs
Agreed. Bone break was fun tbh, I don’t know why they needed it to be less punishing, it’s a Rex. But it is what it. I never used facetank. Not everyone does, it’s about personal preference. The changes to tail attack also is unfortunate.
I like that even your starting to sound tired by the changes that are being made lately literally every update from the past six months has left me perplexed as to why you would want to make your game actively worse 🤷♂️
9:12 “50” also I don’t like how much damage they removed the damage from charge bite I was only now getting back into it and now it’s got 70% damage nerf like why aren’t the dino balances ever good and also trash already has a long cool-down so why increase that even more
I mean if a rex cant instant bb smaller dinosaurs then it sucks, that was our only weapon against faster animals... that and stomp but stomp wont make them stay to become ur food
12:06 yeah, Rex is gonna have the time of its life. That tail attack knockback makes it impossible to ass ride now. You literally cannot get close to its ass because of that tail. I am serious

And Rex and duck, all apexes should do at least 15 dmg with their tail
@@TheKG636 I agree, my Trex gonna make now his eternal sleep in his Hc
@@mursik987 I’m still using Rex with facetank, but we’ll see how it goes, may be hard to keep the big guy fed on critters 😂
As a face tank Rex main I did not notice the nerf 🙂👍
I don’t agree with the Eo changes tho. I felt like it was perfectly balanced to fight Rex, and same for the bars. I don’t understand the cw nerfs at all for those 2
Bars cw was too high, I suspect it will get a tlc next
EO did get 1100hp and halved sharpen horns so had a few buffs too, I think it was too unapproachable for basically everything except a Rex hence the change
i played recently and i play as rex and many herbis.... idk what they have aginst nurfiing tail attacks as that help herbis so much. but the rex is just sad now... its gone to kind of dinos to .... meh just another big dino
ignoring barsboldia i actually like the new tail attacks on bigger dinos. it would be cool to have the old ones as an option though so everyones happy. at first i thought it was dumb, but now playing with it its very fun. spoon can get tailriders off, and mid tiers dont get more free dmg as they really dont need it. but also, i might be biased as pycno still has his charged tail and its so much fun to get both effects with the drawback of the long charge up time :)
W video it’s makes sense why they nerd bars is combat weight because it wasn’t that big it’s smaller than stegosaurus in real life and the and they need to buff T-Rex because in real life, it was solo literally everything in the game if they had Shantungosaurus or edmontosaurus in officials it would be more accurate
my thoughts are also that Maybe it got a nerf because its tlc is coming :D
Tyrannosaurus is 7.8-13 tons maybe 14-16+ tons?
I mean a rex doesn't solo a trike easily, that fight goes either way
If it’s triceratops and torosaurus then yes
@@maanking9923 someone in another comment said its tibia length measured in 2011 was 1.4m which is close to the Shant at 1.47m. is it really big or not?
Now GIVE MEG THE OLD VENOM BACK!
42 seconds ago is crazy
Had a adolescent iggy tail attack me in crater pond on my adult such and launch me high enough to break my bones and do 80% of my health it needs a change asap
Don't mindlessly tail ride then
Tbf its an adolescent iggy doing that though. Its a forwards based attacker why does it do so much knockback on its tail lol, maybe kick I would understand but tail attack with its range??
sorry to be this person but every time velocci says "has came" or "have came" instead of "has come" or "have come" i die a little inside
i will try my best to say "have came" from now on... although ill likely forget 😅
@@VelocciYT wait no that's not.. 😅
Well bars is going in the vault for the time being… 😢
Bars needs some love :(
I'm excited to see more aggressive aquatic critters. A playable large aquatic dino is needed.
Thank God for the bone break balance. I think it was desperately needed
Did I hear right that they added passive growth to the vanilla servers?? That’s awesome as it can be so hard to grow as a solo player
Exactly
You can defend yourself with face tank but you can’t stop things running
Rex needs a change, you have to play too defensively for something that is the most powerful land carnivore of all time.
Rex should get the grab ability imo
You can just use scavenger if you get low on food. The corpses barely get touched these days
The map poi still needs work because it glitches sometimes and doesn’t show all of the area names only some.
I have a question. If microraptor comes and climbing gets added (hypothetically) could they have a young megalania or a ramphy climb too
I mean the tail attack thing is a bit of a punch but i honestly feel like that vast amount of dinosaurs dont use their tails to do damage most hadrosaurs either had large thumb spikes or seemed build almost to punch things like a kangaroo things like bars seemed to use their immense size to keep predators away ceratopsians had diminished tails thr only case where i can see full tail use is in stegosaurs and ankylosurs and mybe thats the point they are trying to give different playstyles to different groups. And no therapod should be using their rigid asf tails to smack anything it was literally their primary balance. Does it suck yes but i hope the effected creatures get things to imporve theur individual playstyle.
tbh i think you should still upload a second seperate video just coveringthe Dasp TLC
I get the knockback being added, but what I still don't understand is why tail attack is so nerfed, especially when you're using it with a large animal like Rex.
I would think that even with the knockback, the damage could still remain the same or not so heavily nerf. I kinda feel like even with the added knockback,
Rex will still be tail ridden to death.
Rex doesnt need any nerfs honestly
What is the goal to slowly creep every dinosaur to the same cw? Bars and eos weighing as much as cons in the future. Apexes are not the problem its the mix packing, kosing big groups locking down every area near a homecave keeping all their dinosaurs in one place so they can switch on the fly to counter type of stuff thats the problem.
Rex is dead now it’s playstyle as an ambush hunter has been taken from it and its staple move it needed to defend itself aswell as hunt has been taken from it . When you see a Rex you feel no danger as you know it can’t catch you and you only fear it when it ambushes or its bb in a fight if u make a mistake as without it you just get in and out with not much fear knowing it’s too slow to react and can keep chipping away at it but now u can make mistakes without risk of being punished for it when to me I see no reason for nerf on a Rex as if you make a mistake against a Rex that is that slow it’s not the Rex being too op but your own fault and also makes fighting one more fun tbh as there is risk and if you get ambushed by a Rex it’s also not op but your own fault by not paying attention on a survival game and by not seeing something so big and allowing something so big and slow to catch you out where you should always be paying attention to your surroundings so all in all a Rex player spends hours most of time lying in wait to get a successful hunt off to now do all that for nothing it’s bad a real bad super nerf Rex separately needs looking at and adjusting somehow now
I agree. I’m just gonna use face tank tho
@ gigas duos going to have a field day with rexes now
Hope that means allo TLC is coming soon with model and abilities dasp looks good but it could use scavenger too
This video is 😍.
Dense scales if in a group, thin if solo.
i wonder if they will make the sarco choose between charge bite and the stamina drain bite like how they did to dasp
I love this is update it’s so nice
im glad you like it!
Yeah I love it I hope you like it
I hope they do substantial ai species like rexes and iguanadon and raptors and and flyers!
Hope Bars TLC is like a comeback like stone cold steve Austin with them wwe body slams.
You know i don’t mind fractured, but i do wish they would up the time of you being fractured. And for instance if i work my butt off to get you bone broke, I wanna be rewarded for having you bone broke not just 5 secs.. if that makes sense
W vid 👑
Also cera doesn’t do reflect damage anymore
Is Cerato still good? It used to be my main dino.
Is amazing, more update yay❤😊❤
19:33 yea that’s new and also very cool
i love new dasp, he's sick
Why is no one talking about the Allosaurus’s head in the thumbnail 😭😭
6:20 thank goodness cause that was so annoying
Im only waiting for leedsichthys cause i want to see how big they can get.
Otherwise i think the quests and hourly server restarts are boring
I left the game for a huge minute to much content to grind again but it sadness me sarco it's the monster it was 😢😢
Rex has been crippled, no BB? That’s what made them fight worthy vs other big apexes, also turn radius is so bad that we needed that tail hit damage to get around smaller packs
Yeah no almost every rex that take on other apexs and not chasing mid tiers run face tank aginst other apexs
Agreed. Bone break was fun tbh, I don’t know why they needed it to be less punishing, it’s a Rex. But it is what it. I never used facetank. Not everyone does, it’s about personal preference. The changes to tail attack also is unfortunate.
Bone break was good against all apexes except EO, it was mainly to handle mid tiers, we’ll see how face tank build plays out 🤷🏽
Wow moment of silence for bars
But we are still deaf? Without sound returning, I doubt many of us will return either.
Nice idea, but the bone fracture feature looks a little janky, and not very realistic.
No immediate bone break, and stego's dead tail? Oh boy......
Tried exploring the whole map and didn't receive anything - anyone know about this? Did it as a rhamp.
I like that even your starting to sound tired by the changes that are being made lately literally every update from the past six months has left me perplexed as to why you would want to make your game actively worse 🤷♂️
Lambeo cant spam tail atk no more? Those were its main atk last year what happend:(
9:12 “50” also I don’t like how much damage they removed the damage from charge bite I was only now getting back into it and now it’s got 70% damage nerf like why aren’t the dino balances ever good and also trash already has a long cool-down so why increase that even more
I mean if a rex cant instant bb smaller dinosaurs then it sucks, that was our only weapon against faster animals... that and stomp but stomp wont make them stay to become ur food
Please let my pachy have a TLC
They took away his armor, so after this TLC will he be good again?
He's still annoying, just not hair pulling levels of annoying
Also how the fvk is a cera going as a tank dino 🤯💀
welp ik im never gonna reach adulthood now..
They killed s tiers with this update.Tail attack for them need to be alot more powerful nobody care about knocback. Good job devs
12:06 yeah, Rex is gonna have the time of its life.
That tail attack knockback makes it impossible to ass ride now.
You literally cannot get close to its ass because of that tail.
I am serious
It's ridiculous that the damage is so low despite the impact being strong enough to blow your body away. The developers must be stupid.
Idk y but, I’m thinking pachy is the next tlc.
Yes we love Sillysaurus
