Wish I could have just one lesson with you …..guess not as I am 76 …..Grade 5/6 and started to play again . Stopped when I was 15 . I find your video’s so helpful. Thank you .
Hi Dr Bushkova, Because of my time zone it was 2.30 am streaming. But I am extremely gratefull to be able to see your streamings the day after. It´s wonderfull they stay available. I always write down the points that are most relevant for me and I always learn a lot. After that I elaborately experiment and try to absorb the things you tell. And it has helped me a lot to solve numerous issues of which I wasn´t even aware. You helped me a lot and I´m very gratefull for that. Thank you very much from Belgium. 😃
Same spirit here, I missed it live but am extremely grateful for these streams. Thank you for sharing your wealth of experience and talent. I keep coming back to your videos and understanding concepts deeper.
i really enjoyed this thanks for streaming!! i didnt catch it live but i played it a couple days later while doing some work and it was nice having company
Hello Julia, I have developed arthritis in my thumbs and I am having trouble with my left-hand frame. My left thumb hurts some when I try to keep it opposite the fingers. It doesn't hurt when the thumb extends back toward the nut (which is not the "good way"). Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much.
Hi mam may know should all strings be same brand I mean if one of them is cutting have to find one same as brand of the other three which I have on my violin? Thank you
We usually try to use the same brand for G, D, and A strings. Very often the E string may be of a different brand. In rare cases, it may be helpful to use mixed brand strings to compensate or enhance the sound of a certain string on a certain instrument.
Your streams really are invaluable, professor Bushkova!!!! Your insight is the material most of us who don't have teachers dream for.

I'd recommend to keep the thumb in a place where it does not hurt!
