hell yeah, ive been playing guitar for 13 years, never had a lesson, but jammin with your videos has started to get me out of my "rut." I felt like everytime i picked up the ax, i was playin the same stuff and couldnt break through it, seems to happen every year or two - well im starting to progress my playing again. Thank you.
Damn, took the big licks prompt at the end literally, got my tongue stuck on the strings, and had a Dr. Richardson remove my face from my guitar in the Mount Sinai surgery center. Cost me 12 grand, but it was still a fucking great jam. Thanks a million!
Marty man!! We have come a long way. When i start working, i am gonna buy all of your blues DVD's. You have opened a whole new world for me through music.
marty you´re the best teacher ever, great lessons and i hear you´re music every morning and i feel good. since you learn me blues playing my play get´s awesome. :-)

Thought for a change I'd answer your "What's up." The dog shit on the rug when I was work, but other than that, it's been a pretty normal day. There was, however, an abnormally large butterfly in the backyard around 3:55. I reckon that was the highlight, so far.
Thank you sir. That was great!! Since I can't jam with ya in person, this is the next best thing. This really helped me practice my open blues scale and my open minor pentatonic. Dm
Marty has turned me into a guy taking his acoustic to the laundromat and jamming outside on the bed of the ubiquitous Texas F150 while clothes are on spin cycle. Best advice when playing the blues? Make the freight train sing.
This is awesome! Thank you so much, I've been trying to figure out how to branch of from focusing mainly on chords and this along with your other videos has really helped, cheers!
I've got a song request. I would like to see a tutorial video for the song Don't Grow Up So Fast by Train. I love the song and would like to learn to play it! Thanks!! Love your videos I found yours to be the easiest to learn from.
Hey marty. Thx for all the videos. I've had lessons back in 3. 4. 5. 6. grade. Last year i picked up the guitar again. Now im 35. your videos made me get back in the game, and i love it. Now I've seen the video with the backing blues in E. Just what i needed. Thx a million! Keep up the good work and easy learning tips. best regards from Denmark.
ahhmmm I love this guitar blues and Im Itching to seek and to know what is the title of this blues and its artist for about a long long time already...
Hey Marty, good stuff as usual. Just curious though about this jam. I am learning the I-IV-V and 12 bars so just looking for clarification, would you call what you are doing a 'quick change'? As you go to the IV chord on the second bar.
