another major score...your luck is crazy...slot cars are all about colors...you can have 2 of the same cars..one color will go for 50 dollars while the other color will go for 350 dollars...my example was with... the dune buggy
Life Is Amazing...I Just Got A Flash Back...That Orange and Yellow Petty Car Is Exactly The One I Had As A Kid. A Thousand Years Ago. When Toys Were Analog.
Wow I remember seeing your daughter years ago when you took her to play with RC cars she getting big almost as tall as Mom. Thank you for making all these great videos I love them say hi to the great and talented Gunter I was amazed when I saw on your tv show that he was your dad must have been great growing up with a rockstar dad you and your family take care and god bless
The blue and lime green #17 Chevelle is your BIG score along with the 6 wheel elf. That's if the bodys are not damaged or broken. Maybe next time, good luck ..
Nice cars in that box. The blue /line green Chevelle is a good one. Some of them had tires changed to white or purple ones. I know this video is over a year old, so you've probably done well selling them on EBay. Right now is a great time for a seller like you in the hobby. Good luck to you in the future and Happy Hunting.
Man, you found a hell of a collection of slot cars there. Yes you got some pretty valuable old school ones there man. You got pretty penny there and the slot cars. As far as these guys that well even me would be interesting and a select bonds 😯
You have probably sold these by now, but here's my 2 cents worth of free advice: having the original box, label and instructions adds to the value. If the car is still banded in the box with a clear plastic strap that adds additional value. Early in the video the red and orange Thunderbird stock car number 12 is a premium piece because of its rare color combination. The 6-wheel Tyrrell Elf is very rare and valuble, especially in the original packaging. Near the end the orange Coyote number 14 is rare and was a car driven by racing legend A.J. Foyt. The blue and green Chevelle stock car number 17 is a very rare color combination and very valuble, and the black with gold pinstripe John Player Special number 1 is very hard to find. Thanks for posting.
I hate to tell ya Rene but Casey is right! Those VW slot cars are indeed 1973 VW Things. The kubelwagen was only during war years (41-45) and the Thing was only for 73 and 74 in the US. (Made a few more years for the German military)
As perhaps you have found out by now, the best cars there were the blue and yellow Chevelle the Cuda funny car with the wheelie bars, along with the g-plus 6 wheel Tyrell Elf and the '31 Ford panel in translucent lime. The sleepers though were the Dodge vans with snake stickers. The vans themselves are common, but the stickers on these make them actually the rarest vehicles of the ones you showed. The prices you get on them can vary a lot though since most people don't fully appreciate how hard to find they are, even on ebay. Prices can vary quite a bit on the box AFX cars in general. The best condition ones that still have the clear plastic bands around the cars can go for especially high prices depending on the car, but the cars you had didn't appear to have those bands, indicating they had either been played with or displayed without the boxes at some point. The Russell Maxx cars are also quite hard to find, and the boxed ones you said you had are actually rarer and pricier than anything in this video. If you have questions on identifying certain slot cars and price ranges, I can help if you reach out to me.
Yeah that one she's got in her hand right there. Yes about 100 100 and something dollar car. Yeah the older like that one '50s and 60 they're rare and will be very hard to find
Wait.. I see that in the background. you DO realize you have a D&D Tiamat Toy in the BOX and LOOSE those things are $450 right?! Good GOD how the hell do you keep scoring this amazing stuff?!? :D
Enough time has passed to where the actual rarest car shown in this video should be mentioned. It didn't even make it into the actual video, it was only shown in the picture promoting the video. The car in the center there was an AFX Super G-plus Dodge Magnum in a rainbow color scheme white/blue/red/orange, with blue #14. They have traded hands for 3K in the past, meaning before this video was released. There were only a handful of this color Magnum released to the public. My guess is Rene knew it was rare, otherwise it wouldn't have made it into the video promo picture. Strangely though, the car was never shown in this video or the others, as far as I could see. Never saw it make its way to ebay either. That makes me think someone spotted it and made him a private offer before or right after the videos were released, but I could be wrong. Just a hunch.

Hi. Just found your video on the box of slotcars. Awesome. Do you sell directly from this page? If not where can I find your cars for sale? Thanks.

Hi, I am surprise you did not recognize the German military car vw thing looking car.
actually, Pintos often got V8's and blowers, it's all power to weight ... more power, less weight. That's the same reason they did it with Vega's
