Thank you! I followed the manual’s instructions, and it wasn’t working. Your instruction at 2:00 about sticking your finger in the hole to keep the top from getting hung up- that made the difference!
The dealer sent me the filter even though I didn’t order it. I assumed they wanted me to bring it in and pay them to install it. I was hoping to avoid that cost. But I guess that’s the only way. @@SpinnerEV
This was useless. You must of broken the strut in order for it to come off that easily. The strut has plastic pieces you have to compress on either end in order to take it off. I ended up having the pull the strut apart in order to open the glove box.
The plastic part with the holes stumped me until I watched your video. Thanks!

Excellent
The strut/piston on my 22 EV won’t budge.
I’d recommend contacting your local service department.
Edit: disregard. For some reason I thought you meant your suspension.

@twominutesitcoms I misunderstood what you meant. That glove box strut is a little tricky to get at first. I had to use a combination of tools.
I tried needle nose pliers on the lower strut but found it easier to push it open from the top. If that’s not working, maybe try the lower pin?
