I don't care if pile-up are underrated and quite underground. They are one of my favourite bands. Its like foo fighters but with hints of Seattle grunge scene (Nirvana, Mudhoney, Alice in chains, ect). I aspire to make my band just like them.
Discovered Dinosaur Pile Up a few weeks ago after getting obsessed with their single "Back Foot." But man, THIS song is an equal contender for their best track!
Sounds a bit like Local H and Foo Fighters plus a dash of Nirvana Its so nice to here a real band jamin the shit out of cool chord progressions and mixin in some breaks!!!! Just in Chicago last night I was unaware or I would have went!!! These guys are pretty cool even even cooler because they are British!
If there is one thing that is better than Nirvana it is a bunch of guys playing in a band I have never heard of doing everything they can to imitate Nirvana perfectly.
