Really beautiful clip - I loved it. I have a question - I am debating between a 40mm and a 50mm G lens. I also shoot with a SONY A74 - when you shoot at 60 frames, the camera does a crop + the image stabilizer in the camera also does a crop - that's why I'm thinking of buying the 40 mm - which gives you a 60 mm angle on the lens. What do you think ?
Glad you liked the clip Arik 😊 Indeed there’s a crop on the 4K 60 and this clip was filmed at that using the 50mm G lens. It’ll really come down to what you’re shooting and your style of shooting too. For example I have a few friends who also film surfing and we’re all using very different lens lengths to suit where we like to sit in the lineup!
@@StokedForTravel hahaha yeah very nice swell on Sunday I went surfing at the pass and it was pretty decent in the morning and then the waves started to double up and get a bit messy in the arvo but still very good 👍
