DuraPlate Cooling System on Falk V-Class Gear Reducer

An overview of the Falk V-Class™ industrial gear reducer and an explanation of the DuraPlate® cooling system's operation as installed on a Falk V-Class industrial gear reducer. For demonstration purposes, the gearbox unit is run in both normal operation and in a failure mode to test relative cooling performance. The DuraPlate cooling system on the gear drive is also compared to conventional forced air oil cooling to highlight advantages.
