I load my log trailer with a similar technique to the precision pull. I designed and built a cable powered sideloading log trailer I use behind my truck. I skid the log up beside the arms, roll it on, then hook the horse/team to the cable and drive away 12 feet or until the log drops off the arms onto the deck. Controlling the speed at which the log is loaded determines where it lands on the deck. If I don't stop the horse on the dot once the arms reach top dead center they hit the bunks and we are snubbed up tight. Not as scientific as hydraulic equipment but a lot cheaper! I have a video of the log trailer in operation on my channel. I think it is a good way to get started, I use it for poles, cedar, firewood, anything smaller, usually with a single horse. Could load larger with a team.

Very interesting way of pulling competition, it's about precision, not about raw power.

A curious question. How much does it cost to ship an animal overseas? Who does overseas shipping of livestock?
