the fish finder that you have check to see if the transducer is still attached to the bottom of your yak on the inside. you may have to buy a new one or reattach it to the bottom of the inside of your yak.
Oh man, that's awesome! I need to go kayak fishing in Santa Cruz! Can you recommend any good spots? I don't want to blow up anyone's fishing spot but if you can give me hints as to what to look for, in a good fishing spot, I would appreciate it.
You should take off that dense foam piece off the back. It might be preventing your rudder from turning properly and is meant for helping to protect the rudder when loading and unloading the kayak from a vehicle.
Your power and tranducer connection for your fishfinder must needs to be fully pressed in. When it is slightly loose in either one the tranducer will not show and reading. Push plug fully in no force needed then twist to lock the plug in. Hopefully that fixes your fishfinder issue.
I would move to sand, its not about depth, just bottom structure. You can check if youre over rocks by throwing a swimbait down and dragging it across bottom
My son's 2 fav fisherman : Fisherman's Chronicles & Santa Cruz Surfcaster. You guys hooked him up on fishing!!
Love to hear that! Means a lot to me to get someone into fishing :)
Lol. If a fish farts, then you’re throwing an anchovie on its face. Funny comment. You are talented:) congrats on the new kayak & tight lines!

the Santa Cruz harbor and capitola are both great spots, but in capitola you have to launch from the beach
@@FishermansChronicles Thanks so much for the info! Maybe I'll see you out there soon 👍🏽
"Fish Farts"... meaning "queefing" 😁😁

its out of the water, so doesn't interfere, I just keep it there to lower it when I pull the kayak out on the dock
@@FishermansChronicles Ah, okay. You’re braver than I am then. I’m afraid of it coming loose so I leave mine with the vehicle.
How deep are you fishing ? You know you gotta pop those Rockfish if you more than 50 or 60 feet right ?

Thanks! Will check this
Hello, any videos on salmon yet?
No, but hopefully i will get one soon
Nice video. Amazing how calm the water was; from swim pool to lake like and then with a few ripples.
Awesome Job👍
Comment for the algo and also, pa las pompis secas 😂
Nalgas mojadas son muerte 💀

Swim bait mvp of the year
nice catch. If constantly getting rockfish, need to move away & find the sand. How deep?

Good job ! Is that the st croix mojo inshore?
Yes sir! Recommend!
Switch your leader and your weight so the bait can slide up and down the line while the sinker stays down.
Dude fish farts that’s all you have to do to get some sardine or anchovies, ummm…
Too much talking!!! Do more fishing!!!
