I lived in Thailand for many years. There is a 200% VAT tax on cars made outside of the country. The housing prices are similar to your country but income in Thailand is lower. I do agree with you, having your own home is important for your sense of security. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford it.

Thanks Natasha! Very interesting. In Minnesota new cars are very expensive and it makes sense for most people to buy in the used market. Interest rates are far less than yours. However, the interest rate you get depends on your credit history of responsible financial behavior and can range from 7% to 20%. Hugs and kisses from Minnesota😘

Natasha, I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring XT. I bought it new for $41000, but I gave my older Subaru in trade-in and had only to pay ca. $10000 besides the trade-in and I did not have to finance it. It is a very nice and reliable car - it has all the extras. I also have a pick-up truck and I also own my home. Greetings from Northwest Arkansas.

A friend in Tula who rents, just days before the end of the year was given a 24 HOUR notice to vacate.
Not a week. Not a month (as is customary in most places). But only 24 HOURS!! 🤯😱😱😱
(From my understanding, the apartment was sold. And no forewarning of any potential change in ownership was provided so that he might take the time to relocate in a reasonable manner).
    I was shocked 🤯.

Thank you for the interesting presentation. As long as your baby show car is meeting your needs, I think it is smart to keep it.
When it finally wears out, you might want to think about learning to drive a manual transmission car. They are cheaper, and usually more durable. Too many new cars in USA have transmissions that are so complicated they rely on computer to choose the ratio and nobody can repair them. My sister is not good with mechanical things. I never thought she could learn to use a clutch. Her husband taught her.

Hello Miss Natasha!! Thank you so much for your amazing video.... To be honest, in my country, Iran, owning a house alone will be like a dream for almost every person (even the elderly cannot buy a house for themselves)!! So yes owning a property is very important at least here... And I think most Westerners prefer a rental house because they have a stable economy, but people like us who live in an unstable economy have different opinions about money and the way to invest. For example, buying a house here is a really good investment to make money!! also same about car too !! again thanks a lot for your awesome video ..... and hope all of us can survive some how after all !!

The problem with new homes in America is that they are all similar in size. If you want something different like a small home that is new, a person needs to find a kit or have it Ulithi to the different specifications. My house is about 490 m squared. It is 75 years old. I bought it 20 years ago for $125k. It is worth about $390k now. I would be happy with a smaller home but it needs to be in a fantastic location. I can’t find one yet that is available so I just stay here for now.

My reason for purchasing a home grown car manufacturers, (1). Easy to obtain car parts, (2). Keep fellow Russian national's in employment and keep the money in the country from going abroad.

In my country (UK) most cars are bought using hire to buy type scheme. You hire for a few years then pay off the balance. But what happens is people just rollover to a new hire. I think this is bonkers personally, but it sells cars.

Svi znaju da je kupnja auta na kredit najgora moguća kupnja i zato svi nastoje kupovati bez kredita. Što se tiče parkirnog prostora, to je problem već 30 godina i bit će sve veći. Lada is a good car, nearly indestructable! I am surprised that Chinese cars are that expensive, if you look on the car prices in China and translate it to Rubles they should be lower. There are cars in China that sells for about $5000, don’t know about the quality, it is a small car, still has four doors. In Europe there are some Chinese EVs but they are expensive because of EU import restrictions. A Zeeker would cost $50000 and that is very much higher than in China. I know that EVs are not popular in Russia, but China builds petrol and diesel cars also. I know a guy that work at Volvo and they bought a cheap Chinese car and took it to pieces, they were surprised about the quality and the smart ways they had cut costs. It would be fun if you went to a car sales place and sat in the cars and commented what you like and don’t like. A car loan right now here has an interest of 10%. Some people lease their car and pay a monthly payment that includes insurance and repairs. After three years they can change it for a newer. The problem is that if you have kids that spilled icecream in it you will have to pay additional money when you give it back to the company. As always, God bless! 🩵

Chines cars are more expensive in Serbia then in Russia ,cheapest Chines car here is 20k $ ,and cheapest Chines EV is 30k ,so not cheap at all .Also problem with CHines cars here is that they dont sell diesels and diesel cars are still popular here (fuel is much more expensive in Europe then in Russia )

Indifferently in which country I live I will always choose a local brand, but there are also exceptions especially then when a car brand is known for a low quality product. What a beautiful background behind your back. I remember Poland in 90s when I was a child looked exactly the same like the place you recorded the video. See nothing changed in your country. Weird idea. How about you improve your lives instead of producing weapons and invading other countries?

The girl is kind of depressed. All videos have the same theme: “High prices. Oh, Horror.” Everywhere in the world prices are high in relation to wages. Everywhere! This is called the government's monetary policy. In any country in the world, this policy exists and the salary will not be enough for all your desires. Therefore, stop whining, and you just need to find a balance between work and rest while enjoying life.
