What these judges did to Charlotte at that time was completely unforgivable & they should have been ashamed of themselves!!!! They had no right talking to her like that whatsoever!!! They literally broke her spirit and made her feel like she did something wrong!!! I have seen them praise, encourage & advance others on this show that didn't even have 1% of her talent!!! Charlotte, I hope you are still out there giving it your all, because your talent is way beyond your years & you literally mastered "Diamonds Are Forever"!!!! Love you, please keep up the great work!!!!
Charlotte is, in my opinion, the most electrifying young talent that I have ever seen! She can sing and dance and it’s all original works of art! Her stage presence and poise is amazing for a 14 year old! I can’t wait to see what thousands of more surprises we will still see from her!

I line her up with two other amazing AGT prodigies--Courtney Hadwin and Angelina Jordan. All three are natural singers whose genius lifts them off their feet--literally--and blasts out of their lungs like a hurricane. This kind of power at such a young age is uncontrollable until over time the blessedly possesed learn how to chanel their creative energies. Theirs is a gift that leaves us breathless.

This proves that the show isn't based on real talent, just getting in the popular acts..... this show isn't her caliber, and she should have said that to Simon when he said, this wasn't your best song choice... I don't see how she could have possibly done it any better. Perfect in my opinion, and I loved it. Nobody else has the range of voice or passion she put into the song.

Agt makes big mistakes. I doubt Charlotte choose this song. It's a tv show not a competition. Champions same year Angelina Jordan did not win. The next season Daneliya Tuleshova did not even make the top 5. Both of those girls have signed huge record contracts after show. Charlotte will get signed no worrys.

Ok, to each their own regarding whether you like a song, but you are there to judge her SINGING, her talent. I can confidently say she absolutely KILLED it, I’ve never heard such power in a voice of a young teenager performing that song, this was my favourite performance of hers.

I have to say, the judges always react with comments that the young girl singers appear mature (translate that to mean sexy) and talented beyond their years. Could it be that if she showed more skin, she would have gotten a positive endorsement rather than that negative one. It is difficult to avoid the thought that the fix was in!
I have to add, they DID NOT evaluate her range and power nor the quality of her interpretation, but referenced back to her previous performance of "You Don't Own Me" a blatantly sexual charged song! Might we have seen their pedophilia leaking out from beneath the camouflage?
Bruce Frank, the idea of her being sexy at just fourteen years old makes me want to throw up 🤢, she is a child. She killed that song from her interpretation of the song to her amazing range, it was perfectly done! Her other videos are incredible and her original works are nothing less than impressive. I don’t know what was going on with these judges, but their terrible criticisms not only decimated her emotionally but lost her chance to advance to the next round. She doesn’t need to show more skin. Period
I'm betting they are thinking that song is perhaps out dated and too mature for her to be singing. I thought her little retro outfit and hairstyle was adorable and fitting.
Jane, I agree, and looking through the responses you have, I notice that nobody has mentioned what I think is probably the root cause; That is, the judges have a vested interest in someone they've put through, and their worried that if they put through Charlotte, with her talent she'd threaten their pet investment. So the reason she didn't go through is pure and simple GREED. The judges manipulated the public generally by slating her on stage, in a very vindictive way. No artist, good or bad, deserves that kind of treatment. Charlotte will survive and I'm sure will succeed in all her ambitions with luck and support from us, in spite of the judges. Of course, if you remonstrated with the judges they'd say that was what they intended (they would say that, wouldn't they). I believe them -not! On a more pleasant note, if you haven't already seen it, look at 'Charlotte Summers and David Parejo Menuda noche' on youtube. It is a duet with a Spanish professional, and she's only 10 or 11 y.o. here. She is so professional and convincing you'd think she was the professional, she more than holds her own. (sorry it's in Spanish, but you don't need to speak Spanish to appreciate it.

Just wanted to add to my comment. When I judge someone's singing I say to myself " would I buy their music"? I think Charlotte Summers can sing anything and I would buy her music. She will be a big star.
That was absolutely amazing. The judges are always asking people to show how dynamic they can be and not come on stage and do the same act everytime. Charlotte just showed the world that not only can she be that bubbly energetic teenager but also a hardcore serious player. The Judges only make comments like this because they are trying to sway public opinion. Charlotte you were amazing singing that song!

morteza amini umm Sophie and bit Khalsa will not get it. Sophie’s song was basically a speech and but Khalsa was very forgotten. I do think Charlotte may get it tho.

Charlotte will survive for the following reasons. 1. Talent. 2. Dedication, passion, sensitivity, emotion. 3. Giving everything she has to all her performances. 4. The judges have treated a delightful child despicably, which has and will ensure that her name and all her performing qualities will not be forgotten, and the public will respond by keeping her going to the best of our abilities, and will support her in spite of the judges. (Of course the judges will claim that is what they intended - and of course, they would say that, wouldn't they?) Keep going Charlotte, we're here for you and screw the judges.
Itto pitto .. I cannot believe the judges comments, especially Simon’s. Her vocals were absolutely amazing in this performance!She continued to get better and better and it’s a shame watching the judges treat her this way and make this girl cry in front of millions of people. She did not deserve that. She did so much better than a lot of others to just go straight home and be eliminated. That was the most undeserving elimination ever!

This young girl has everything needed to be a huge star: the talent, the looks, even the name. I feel like someone is THAT good and THAT young, you need to let them explore. Let them take risks. Let her find her creativity, try new type of songs, etc. There is a difference between a great vocalist and a musical ARTIST. Let her find her inner artist and use her innate talents to create amazing music. The judges were so wrong on this. This is honestly how the music industry takes away so much creativity from musicians and how things become so mainstream, safe, and boring.
