Interesting fact they actually they compose and produce their own lyrics/songs was said by hongjoong because he’s one of the members that writes most lyrics for the group songs (all of them do help out by discussing ideas with inputs on who does what in the song & choreography.....similar to Stray Kids who’s rapline is responsible for all of their own music & choreography!
Eden makes almost all of their beats, but Hongjoong writes most of it & Mingi writes his own verses sometimes too. Hongjoong helped on Eden's latest project too.

Every time Mingi came out you had to collect yourself and this was legit how I was the first time I watched their MVs for “Pirate King” and “Treasure.” ATEEZ, from what I’ve seen so far, seems like a group that has debuted years ago, and the stage presence that they have is crazy! They’re definitely a group that I’m going to continue to stan - I’ve been around since KQ Fellaz. ❤️ They’re something special that I feel like everyone should watch out for.
hongjoong and mingi both wrote their rap parts and the reason why hongjoong laughed before his rap is that he wants to give off that pirate vibe where pirates horifically laugh in movies so he tried to copy that and applied it in their song,,

I fell for this group when they were doing dance covers as LOw Fellaz. They have a dance cover compilation and all their dance practices are posted.

Interesting fact they actually they compose and produce their own lyrics/songs was said by hongjoong because he’s one of the members that writes most lyrics for the group songs (all of them do help out by discussing ideas with inputs on who does what in the song & choreography.....similar to Stray Kids who’s rapline is responsible for all of their own music & choreography!
Eden makes almost all of their beats, but Hongjoong writes most of it & Mingi writes his own verses sometimes too. Hongjoong helped on Eden's latest project too.

They're great, you should look into them! My boi Leez especially has made some SICK music for a lot of groups, he's the best! Some of the members of Ateez also had a hand in making the music but I'm sure every other comment here mentions that
It’s now going to be 2020 and in the span of 1-2 years they have practically sold out two world tours and released 4 albums almost 5
I always observes a group for at least two comebacks before deciding whether I’m digging in or not
But Ateez? They got my attention with Treasure, pushed me in with Pirate King, and I’m not getting out
