Ariel has really shown his true colours this past year. I think verbally outwitting fighters like Dillon Danis got to his head. Misquoting DDP, going after Dana for DV saying how disgusting and vile it is (which I agree with) then 2 weeks later wanting Jon Jones on his show, putting words in Hill’s mouth about supporting men hitting women back and so on. He’s a hypocrite and a weasel.

You guys gotta watch the interview of Jamahal's on the show after he won the belt. Ariel was blatantly disregarding his accomplishment asking several questions commenting ways that Jamahal was the recipient of a title shot only because Jiri vacated. Like he just kept up with that angle. There was no grand introduction, and many "subtle" jabs. Plus Jamahal goes on in the end of this video to say he acknowledges Jiri hasnt the best English and that Ariel manipulated his understanding, but Jiri went along with it a good deal which I can understand being upsetting. I'm a big fan of Ariel but you don't watch his show if you don't believe he antagonizes conflicts a lot. Watch the interview mentioned with Ariel and Rampage earlier this week. Same disrespect

My opinion is that Ariel has gone to a very pro wrestling kind of interview/show style, especially as of late. He's always had hints of it, dating back to the Diaz's, Rampage, etc. It seems to me he more interested in injecting himself as a personality into the game. Where he does these sly, subliminal shade throwing statements, as he did in this video and then proceeds to invite said person onto his show to hash things out. He know what he's doing at this point, it's very smart on his part. Personally not for me. He's not always in the wrong, but in this case he is.

Something changed .... Ariel has been MMA journalist of the year how many times? But in the last 18 month, there's been a change in how he interviews fighters. His standards have dropped. His honesty has faltered. He's been more manipulative, more of a shit-stirrer, more egotistical. Its been visible since his Schaub beef, his Dillon Danis drama, then his biased interviews of Jared Gordon, Jamahal Hill Dricus DuPlessis.
I hope that there is someone who can ask him, "Ariel, are you OK?" Because the nastiness seems to be growing, and at some point his viewers will turn off, and turn to non-journalist MMA commentators instead. It's a shame to see someone who has been excellent start to lose their edge. As a boxing fan , I remember when it happened with Larry Merchant - but Ariel is 30 or 40 years younger.

Ariel is the type to apologize because he thinks that’s what you want not because he actually sees what he’s doing wrong and when it’s obvious what you need to take accountability for, saying things like you don’t know where we got off on the wrong foot makes it feel like you’re playing dumb

Ariel is the most biased "journalist" and has clear favorites. This is not new. Look at how he "reported" on the Islam vs Volk fight.
Gave 0 credit to Islam the entire time.
Made so many excuses for Volk.
Didn't hold ANYONE accountable for spreading rumors about iV use.
Tried justifying a W for Volk by saying in "schoolyard rules" Volk would have won. He clearly said you can't apply schoolyard rules to MMA before. Going back on his word to fit his narrative.
    Absolute SNAKE.

as a person who has had many mental health battles and dealt with my own issues before going to work as a support worker for adult addicts with mental health disabilities/diseases, it is very clear and obvious that Ariel is a narcissist and his responses and actions are just complete textbook narcissism 101.
It's really obvious if you know what you're looking for. The red flags don't appear as clearly because he's a journaist on a youtube show but isolate and review the patterns of behaviour over a prolonged period of time and you get to see just how pervasive and cyclical this sort of behaviour is. It literally is the same toxic mechanisms of thought that hardcore drug addicts use to help maintain a habit.
