The Quran contradicts scientific and historical facts Some Muslim apologists claim that the Quran contains scientific truths that wouldn’t be discovered for centuries and so could have only come from divine inspiration. But this requires generous and creative imposition of modern scientific knowledge on vague quranic descriptions of the natural world-for example, when it is said that the quranic verse about how God “creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses” (39:6) refers to the linings of the abdomen, uterus, and amniotic sac. Despite the arguments some apologists make for its scientific accuracy, there are several verses that appear to contradict modern science. One of these is the Quran’s description of semen being created not from the testicles but “from between the backbone and the ribs” (86:7). Texts like these do not necessarily disprove the Quran because, like the Bible, it might be a divinely inspired text that speaks through ancient worldviews and does not claim to assert modern scientific truths. But they do cast doubt on the idea that the Quran contains miraculous scientific knowledge that could have come only from God and that this is proof of its trustworthiness. One of the most glaring inaccuracies in the Quran is not scientific but historical. Aside from mythicists who believe Jesus Christ never existed, Muslims are the only group who deny the well-accepted fact that Jesus died by crucifixion. The Quran says in Sura 4:157: And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. This should make us seriously doubt the reliability of the Quran, because almost everyone, including non-Christians, agrees that Jesus was crucified and died. Skeptical Bible scholar John Dominic Crossan denies that Jesus rose from the dead, but even he says “he was crucified is as sure as anything historical can ever be” (Jesus: A Revolutionary Biography, 163).
Between the backbone and the ribs refers to the esophagus, the fluid of the spit, not semen. Yes spit is created in the mouth but we sometimes eject phlegm from the esophagus and even the lungs. The fluid ejected does not refer to a human’s fluids. In the Creation story of Islam, Allah (SWT) created man by spitting onto dry earth, and creating clay, and fashioning man from clay. This is highly poetic and metaphorical. We have since learned that much of the bacteria that is the basis for life on land, comes from the sea and the clay. What is the sea on Earth, but a drop of spit in the grand size of the universe created by Allah (SWT)? It was not a reference to the reproductive system of human beings. The Surah you are referencing is Surah 86, at Tariq, the Morning Star. Right before lines 6 and 7 which talk about the fluids, are lines 4 and 5. “There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. So let man observe from what he was created.” This is clearly in reference to a Heavenly Creator, not the fluid of a biological father.
Also, 2nd thing, not all Islamic scholars believe that Jesus did not die on the cross. That is a misunderstanding of this part of the Quran. The modern Sunni interpretation of that line, has not always been the most common accepted interpretation by scholars. There are 2 other interpretations. Ahmadiyya Muslims believe Jesus was crucified but somehow survived and woke up from a swoon, and that the bringing of herbs and ointments in the Bible is proof that the women intended to treat his wounds. The Sunni Muslims of the Hanafi school believe Jesus was not crucified but was instead ascended directly into heaven and that an apostle, such as Judas, took his place as penance for his sins, pretending to be Jesus to put an end to the manhunt. But the 3rd, and in my opinion most accurate interpretation of the Quran, and the traditional Muslim interpretation before the Sunni and Shia divisions, was that Jesus was crucified and resurrected from the dead. Some Quranic evidence of this interpretation: “Never say that those martyred in the cause of Allah are dead-in fact, they are alive! But you do not perceive it.” Surah al Baqarah (2), ayat 154 We hear this phrase being said a lot about the people in Ga. za right now, the family members who survive say that despite the fact they their martyrs clearly have passed on, they “are not dead.” This is a cultural expression, an idiom, that comes from the land of Jerusalem, that asserts that the soul survives the body and that those who have died have not really died. It actually reaffirms the Christian concept of the resurrection of the dead and the immortality of the soul, which Muslims of all schools and denominations also believe in the day of resurrection and the immortality of the soul, and that Jesus is al-Masih (the Messiah) who will be there on judgment day. Surah al-Kahf (The Cave, chapter 18), is the story of the Seven Sleepers, who slept in the cave for 300 years, and Allah (SWT) resurrected them. This story also uses that expression “they were never really dead” even though clearly physically they were. It is about spiritual belief.
That line “another was made to resemble him to them” is actually a mistranslation. Another translation of Surah an Nisa 157 is “and as for those who boast, ‘We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.’ But they neither killed nor crucified him-it was only made to appear so. Even those who argue for this crucifixion are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever-only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him.” If you look at the true translation, and the opening sentence here “as for those who boast,” and you compare it to other ayats in the Quran that claim that all martyrs have not truly died because they live on in the immortal spirit, then you understand what this surah is really saying. Blame schools of Islamic interpretation of the Quran that interpret this incorrectly. Don’t blame the Holy Quran, which is surely a prophecy from God. The meaning of this surah is clear. It is to admonish those who boast about having killed the Messiah (in other words, it admonishes Judaism for saying that Jesus was able to be killed and therefore isn’t the Messiah, it is admonishing Judaism, not Christianity in this ayat). It is not meant to deny that Jesus was crucified and resurrected. Indeed, this surah affirms the resurrection of Jesus when interpreted correctly.
Deciding to believe in something because it makes you happier is not the same as believing in it because it's true. "Because it makes sense to me" is not a proof. If God actually does exist doesn't mean the Bible or the Quran expresses his actual will. FOLLOWING THE QURAN DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE PLEASING GOD, even if God actually exists. Not believing in God doesn't mean you worship material items. I am an atheist and i don't believe that getting "things" will make me happier. Most people feel more comfortable joining a known community where others believe the same things, with published instructions, but that doesn't make any of it true. Just because Islam, or Christianity, or any religion, makes you feel better, doesn't mean it's truth. But you are free to follow things even if they are true. Just don't insist others accept as true something just because you believe in it. There is absolutely no proof of any God, and many things in the Quran and the Bible are provably false.
You have soo many ideological errors in your comment. Let us break it down, shall we? '"Because it makes sense to me" is not a proof.' You should have questioned yourself "Why did it make sense for him in the first place?", the answer: he looked up, did a research and found the truth which is the proof. "If God actually does exist doesn't mean the Bible or the Quran expresses his actual will." Allah, also known as The God Almighty The Most Merciful The Most Benevolent, does exist for real, without a shadow of a doubt. And Allah does express His actual Will through the Qur'an, which is His Final Message and Revelation, and which also has not been altered or changed throughout 1400 years and never-ever will be. "FOLLOWING THE QURAN DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE PLEASING GOD, even if God actually exists." Following the Qur'an does in fact please our Creator, Allah Almighty. Because that's our way showing our obedience towards Allah, which in return makes Allah very pleased. "Not believing in God doesn't mean you worship material items. I am an atheist and i don't believe that getting "things" will make me happier." Well, if you don't believe in The God, then you are left with no other option except directly or indirectly(meaning forcibly) to worship worldly materialistic things, ideas, objects. I don't understand where do you get the idea of "feeling better" from...I'm am wonder if you are projecting your own senses and those "feelings" into the religions? Thanks, you are also free to choose whether to follow the truth or reject it. Just don't insist others to accept your unbased opinions as correct way to follow just because you feel like it, even though you have not done very accurate research and hence don't believe in The God. "There is absolutely no proof of any God, and many things in the Quran and the Bible are provably false." The proof of Allah's existence is everywhere, have you not realised it yet? The oxygen that you inhale, who created it and made it like a soothing meal for our lungs? Who planned and designed our body in a way that not a single human (or any creation) could ever replicate 1:1, seriously who? Evolution? Sorry to burst your bubble, but evolution is mindless, unconscious, powerless, senseless, meaningless and useless to our daily lives concept. Evolution is just a word to describe living object's transmission from lower form into better form. But the transmission itself requires energy and sustenance, so where does the living object get it's energy and sustenance from? Who gives that sustenance? The answer should be very obvious by now that all of that comes from Allah Almighty. But of course your atheistic mindset would and will deny it, because you don't care to do a proper research. Cause you probably are too busy to find your place in this materialistic world. But without The God you will never find your true place, and that's the saddest and harshest truth for you.

Very easy for you to accept God exist. just accept that ''a thing cannot come from nothing''. Very simple. But you dont want to know the truth or cannot see the truth. We muslim believe its not just your effort alone result in an understanding about God and all the world. Our brain is too small and too weak. You need His help to open your mind and heart. So itis a two way traffic. And surely HE WILL HELP YOU. Just humble yourself to ask Him. And another missconception. He help you not bcs He happy, ecstatic, or satisfied that this little human pitiful in front of Him. He help bcs He is The Most Merciful and Kind. He love it bcs you show humbleness in your life in this world. Im sorry i have limited english. I make this reply nearly an hour just looking for words and sentence. So I hope you understand what i mean thankyou
And one more misunderstanding. We muslim cannot insist or forcing our believe to other. Its forbiding. We only inform and explain to you. Its a muslim duty to do that. So you see, its not just for you but more important is for the muslims himself. You accept or not its not in our power
It’s still more logical than something comes from nothing! Look around you there are signs everywhere but if you want to remain in denial it’s up to you.

The Quran contradicts scientific and historical facts
Some Muslim apologists claim that the Quran contains scientific truths that wouldn’t be discovered for centuries and so could have only come from divine inspiration.

It's a good question, one worthy researching, but just repeating "from Allah" never some book says so isn't proof it's just you saying something.
I can actually answer in detail every single question you pose, and guess what?
It's not ALLAH.
Then you did what so many apologies do, you try to characterize me as a pathetic lost person who is a slave to sensual pleasure.
The truth is that YOU'RE a slave to your desperation for certainty in a universe that does not promise it. "Finding your true place" is a wonderful idea, but it's not an actual thing, there is no such thing.
And even if there were a God of so much majesty that he created everything, why would he care that you said nice things about him?
What kind of a pussy God needs your compliments? If Allah insecure? Does he hope you think he's pretty?
It's pathetic.
But ultimately saying "where does the rain come from?" And answering "Allah" isn't proof OR truth.
Rain comes from clouds, man.

@@osmansaid4601 truth hurts eh
It’s still more logical than something comes from nothing! Look around you there are signs everywhere but if you want to remain in denial it’s up to you.
@@richarddawkins4607 atheist and truth are oxymoron.
False religion
Jesus rose again
Mohammed dead
John 14:6
PROPHET Isa (Jesus) mentioned that another PROPHET called Muhammad will come and he will be the seal of the PROPHETS! so claiming you believe in Jesus but refuse to accept Prophet Muhammad is abit 🤦🏻♀️
