Yes! She would be the perfect artist for the job! Either the TV series version, or the movie version, they are both very beautiful women & would make quite the elegant doll. 🦇
Hello love first of all I think all your work is amazing . I was wondering do you sell just like doll dresses?? I would really like to know if you can make me a couple dresses for my dolls .
I think it's terrible that you paid €50 and they deliberately hid the damage and failed to tell you, but thank goodness you knew exactly what to do, you made a stunning repair and made her truly beautiful
Ooh I almost cried for you when the neck broke! But what a save you did :) And yeah that Ebay seller should have included the information about the damage!
Oh man... From the Weird hair, to the Frankenstein head, the yellow body, and then the neck crack. I know I'm not the only who swore right along with you! I also totally related when you were bending her legs remembering your childhood!!! 100%!!! Beautiful work as always. I don't blame you for keeping her!
I loved watching you tackle all the challenges this repaint threw at you. She turned out wonderful. I also liked the unique face mold. Have you thought about repainting a doll from the Barbie fashionista line with the different body shapes? I would be interested to see what your make with one of those :)
Dear Marina, I have to say I'm so in love with this video format. Two days ago I watched a few of your older videos since I couldn't wait till Friday, and wow the difference! When I first suscribed I was just so used to your previous video format but now I realized I'm way more used to the new one, it feels more intimate and much more connected. Also, I think it gives you more space to share even more advice and comments about what you're doing. I just need to add what a gorgeous doll you just done, she's stunning! Lots of love, can't wait to next week I think is already time for Taurus doll! And I'm Taurus so I'm extra excited 💕
@@daniellebolt3482 I´ve got a James Dean Doll. I own too the Marylin Monroe Doll, Cher, Audrey Hepburn, Frank Sinatra, Shakira, Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra, Diana Ross, 3 Scarlett O´ Haras (Vivien Leigh Face), Clark Gable, Cate Blanchett from Cinderella, Halle Barry, Taylor Lautner, Legolas also from BH 90210 Brenda, Dylan, Brandon and Kelly. These are my Celebrity-Dolls. I have nearly 600. But I ve got the same problem with them when parts of their bodys are yellow.....;(
Also I think it would be cool if you made a doll with a bigger nose because girls with big noses really don’t get any representation in the media for being ‘beautiful’ & I think a lot of us big-noses girls would appreciate it!!!
Lola Pulkin it is “just a nose”, yes, but it’s also a feature that I know many people dislike about themselves and wish they could change. we live in a society that idealizes small, button-noses and calls big-nosed people ugly. if we’re going for the whole “it’s just a nose” comment, then it shouldn’t be a big deal whether that nose is large or small. we rarely ever see noses that are big in a positive way, and that’s why I’m suggesting it. because maybe if we can normalize big noses, fewer people will be so self-conscious of having a bigger nose.
Lmao I have a big nose but it’s literally just a nose. People are self conscious of being fat it doesn’t mean it needs to be normalized. Most people have small noses. Why normalize something unique
For plastic and vinyl discoloration, you can try sunbleaching! You place the doll in a glass/clear container, filled with hydrogen peroxide, and left in the sun for a while. Depending on how light you want to go, it could take a while, but we use it for My Little Pony customs/restorations. It *will* damage any paint you want to keep on, though, so be warned. Also, I've found it to be very easy to do short curls by using pipe cleaners! I sandwich the length of hair between two pieces of the pipe cleaner, 'comb' it down to the end, curl it up the way I want, and then hit it with the hair dryer to set the curl. Works like a charm! Also, really curious here, have you ever tried using a pale tan or off-white to detail the teeth, instead of gray? It seems like it might be more natural-looking, since it's the natural color of teeth. I dunno, just curious! I don't think it makes a huge difference on the smaller dolls, but perhaps on the larger ones (like they styling heads or 17" dolls)?
This Marilyn Monroe repaint (of an old Mattel Marilyn Monroe) turned out beautifully. You are definitely inspiring me to re-create a Marilyn. I am no where in your sphere, and it is just a hobby for me, but I have learned a lot from you. We will see if I can do it??? (ja, ja)

Her hair! I can't believe the seller didn't list that damage! I remember my old Barbie's necks breaking too. Me and my sisters grew up in the late 80's - early 90's. We tried to switch their heads, and their necks broke. Our mom was upset😬. My favorite is still the Peaches and Cream Barbie from the 80's. You should find one and restore it! I would be first in line to buy her!!
Love it!! Love you!!! I love your commentary. Makes me giggle. All my Mattel dolls with that shape body have neck crack issues. I found your channel by searching for information on re-rooting and re-coloring, and WOW have I learned a lot! I've had many of those Barbie bodies exhibit the same neck problem, even back when they were new. I'm sure it's not an issue of age, the plastic was just inferior. Exactly why I have more heads than bodies in my stash!!!! Thanks for the videos, I love watching you work, you are a true artist!
