Thanks Hoef! You and I taking on the Trial Chambers on OneShot actually helped me a lot with them. We were still day 1, very early game and it was SUPER fun that night, especially together. So yeah, I got over completely hating them. haha I was unduly harsh and admit that (now). As far as the 5k days checkin, let's just say I'm well on the way. haha

ACK! I don't know why this released 12 hours early. Um ... anyways, no ... bartering isn't fast enough if you wanted to build say ... a mostly quartz castle. I have 256 piglins in a bartering farm and 1660 gold blocks per hour. I don't get enough quarts to run the observers I want let alone building blocks. lol I'll be doing an omega bartering farm "soonTM" but even then it won't solve the problem Mojang has created. Not at the scale I play.
I have Dash’s gold farm connected to Potato Noirs bartering hall. It’s the most efficient approach in my experience. I can sleep while I barter. Might not meet your needs to build castles out of observers and quartz blocks but I love my farm :) and only 23 piglins can keep up.
Yeah I just don't AFK in my world any more than I have to - sleep bartering for 8 hrs would pass 24 days in the world. Instead of going for "most days played in hardcore" I've taken the approach of "most done within the days I do play." Unfortunately bartering for quartz just wasn't as fast as void trading or even spamming clerics ... it's just sad it got removed for the way I play.

Piglin bartering farm is the solution
