Awesome!! Thank you!!
Thank you!!! Cricut needs a repeat button!!! Would make it way faster!
Excellent! Thank you so much!
Thanks, Corinne. You are so hopeful.
This was fantastic! TFS
So clever! Thanks!
That’s a really cool tips with font and images ! 😊
Thanks for another informative video Corinne!
Wow Corinne this was just brilliant! Thanks for sharing 🌴💕
Omg thank you so much for this!!!! I can't tell you how disappointing it is when you find a great font, but then realize you can't use it because it writes bubble letters!
This is awesome! Thank you again!
Thank you so much!!!
Such a fun way to fill in fonts and images! I love the pens so much! Thank you!
Darn, I needed this an hour ago, lol. Thank you so much for the video, Corinne.
Thank you for this information
This is such a helpful tutorial! Thank you so much for all the tutorials you demonstrate them very well.
Thank you soo much for sharing this. It came out so cool 😊stay blessed love 🥰
This is perfect. I have always wondered how to do this so I can draw some of my favorite fonts. Thank you
Thank you I had not idea 💡 🥰
Thanks 😊 great job 👏
What a great tutorial. This will help me create a whole new spectrum of paper crafting. Maybe Cricut may eventually see a need for this process and boil it into design space!!
Thank you so much
Thanks this is a very easy tip. Easy helps. I do so many complex things with my cricut, it's nice to have an easy hack.
Thank you so much!! I I’ve your videos
Awesome hack
Thanks
Great tutorial. This means Cricut should develop a color dropper tool. Which, I've suggested, by the way 😊
❤❤❤❤
Definitely cool! Not sure if this would show on the canvas but I suspect a 1.0 pen/marker would help it fill quicker or perhaps at least help fill the little spots. I also like how this keeps the original size on the outside vs doing an regular offset that makes it bigger & can distort things if adding too many (?). CDS glitches really need hardcore addressing by Cricut! Mine was terrible yesterday.
Yes it would as I believe I mention in the video about using a thicker pen. I wanted to use what is most common for people to own to show how it can work without buying a new pen :) I was having issues with design space the other day but I think they have been doing some updates which always messes with it
this is great for fonts but i don't know if i would use it for images.
Corrine, I take that type of open font, click on Offset, make it 0.010, around that size, Apply, then I remove the top layer and the offset is filled in so I use the offset - I make a lot of cards and like using sentiments for the ladies that are fussy, scrolly, swirls, glyphs and they are often thin and the offset is a plus - for masculine cards I use thicker, open fonts, and more on the bold style and offset works well with those as well
The offset isn’t filled in. If turned to pen it will only draw the outside line.
I do my offset at .005 (depending on the font) then just delete the original and keep the offset. If it looks too thick, try again till you are satisfied
Would contouring out the missing spaces in the offset work?
It may give you a slight bit of more fill but no because you still only get a single thin line
Could you get the same outcome by using any of the subtract, slice, etc. options? 🤔🤔
Not really. You would be duplicating subtracting and all sorts of other steps. This is way faster
@@CorinneBlackstone Okay cool! Thanks for responding! Saves me from being so curious, I’d spend precious time trying it out! 🤪🤪🤪
Hi, could you tell me what the font is that is on the sheet with the strawberry please?
It is this one! www.creativefabrica.com/product/awesome-everyday-duo/ref/236877/
Thank you!🙂
Can the pens write on leather?
I don’t think so
So, once it is drawn can we get it cut out?
Yep! If you want it to cut around the design you just need to make a small offset and make sure that single offset is set to basic cut
How did you find a writing font mine is just all prints
It’s all explained in the video. You don’t use a writing font you use any font you want. You need to make the operation pen and then add the insets
Sorry I can't get this to work not sure what I'm doing wrong
@@greyheron9971 I’m not sure what you are doing so I can’t really tell you what you’re doing wrong. I’ve done this a ton since this video and it works perfectly everytime. If I had to guess maybe you are selecting the first offset everytime and you need to just keep clicking offset not selecting anything on your layers panel
If you set your pen to a 1.0 pen first, will it fill in faster. I believe so.
It actually won’t. The 1.0 will just make the lines appear thicker. Now yes if you are using that size pen it will fill quicker as the pen is in fact thicker but because I used a .4 pen you need to make sure you use the correct size setting in design space
