Not even. Probably 20-30mins of just taking stuff out of your car would probably make it smell nice and it’ll look a lot cleaner. Maintenance is key in everything.
You could eat off the floor of my car at any given time. I take a lot of pride in keeping my vehicle clean. It really doesn’t take much either. If I bring it in, I take it out. Simple as that.
10:00 -- That's what happens when you don't have patience. Wet sanding? Dude, warm it up with a hair dryer then apply GOO-GONE and WAIT. Patience, my dude.
I used to work as a detailer at a dealership. To remove those old decals we would used a heat gun and a plastic razor blade. Then depending on the residue left over we would wipe it lightly with paint thinner followed with an abrasive wax.
@MisterMonsieur I forgot to mention that depending on how fresh the residue glue was that would dictate wether to use a cleaner wax for fresher glue to thinner only for the extreme backed on glue.
for the sticker on the back next time just spray goo gone on it wait like 15 minutes and use a heat gun and it comes right off and its safe for car paint.
9:15 Had an issue with tape residue recently after i had to cover a smashed rear window. 3M Adhesive remover is a blessing, just spray on wait about a minute and wipe off with a microfiber cloth and repeat until all residue is gone. Now for faded stickers it might not work as well and might come down to buffing it out but that would only be worth it on a new car imo.
The Good Old Reliable 8th Gen Honda Civic. One Of My Favorite Cars Of All Time! Mine is Still Going Strong Over 220,000 Miles, Drives Perfect & Looks Great 👌🏾 Like Day 1.
Other cheap options: scrub the headlights with toothpaste and paper towel, goo-gone for the stickers. And since you used spray paint on the wheels, just use it on the old wheel covers!
The car was so filthy a thorough cleaning that could be done in a single day made a HUGE difference. Nice work and the aftermarket hubcaps turned out looking better than anticipated. 👍
Gasoline is really helpful for getting glue and stuff off. Just be careful not to let it sit for too long on the paint or it could melt/eat through it. Ie clean it off/spray it down with water after
Nice clean up and light wheel restoration. However you could had at least freshened up that paint with a good wax job using a orbiter polisher. I would had taken it a step further and I would had grinded off the rust and treated it with a rust reformer to prevent the rust from getting any worse. It would be a good idea to research on how to do rust repairs on a budget.
you should really get the full kit there 20$ and you do a little sanding and finally a clear coat. And this process will last long than what he is showing.
It's the clear coat over the oxidized headlight for me. If you are gonna spend the money on the clear, just do it right. Would look like a new headlight.
ive actually never bought something to enter a giveaway but driving around this acura i had enough with and even if i dont win atleast i wont have water spots when i wash my car u sold me there brother
My wife’s car needs some rescuing plus I got a budget of like 300 around there for the while fully loaded deal if u Guys are willing to do the video I’m with it.
Buddy, I completely forgot about your channel. I thought the idea was to make content full-time? You're averaging 1 video/ week. That's not enough to trend and you quit making Shorts two months ago. What's going on?
Those Honda hubcaps were worth saving. The lug nuts hold them on. You don’t have to worry about them popping off while driving.
This is why I subbed to you. As someone who has a very low budget, this is always inspiring.
A good clean for $0 is the best mod you can give to your car. Be clean, man.
Goo gone probably would have been the play on that sticker lol
Love the channel. And damn people are gross. Just take 2 pieces of trash out of your car every time you leave it. Not hard.
Or dont bring it in
Don’t act like y’all don’t got fries under your seats 😂
@@mwomble8452I definitely don’t lol

This may be true, the problem is, we know this generation Honda has terrible paint from the factory.
I used to work as a detailer at a dealership. To remove those old decals we would used a heat gun and a plastic razor blade. Then depending on the residue left over we would wipe it lightly with paint thinner followed with an abrasive wax.
@@evoman44 Heat gun? Yes. Plastic razor? Eh. Okay. Paint thinner!? Might as well break out the angle grinder. 🤣

Gives me vibes of a shady dealer mechanic special

so nice to see this series coming back! I often find myself watching your OG subscriber car videos. Love the content, keep up the good work.
Yep, same here. It's the content that built his channel, and then he went mainstream. I won't watch those videos, but I LOVE these style videos.
The car was so filthy a thorough cleaning that could be done in a single day made a HUGE difference. Nice work and the aftermarket hubcaps turned out looking better than anticipated. 👍
These were the videos why we started watching. Make more like this flipping cars.
This channel is really honest and simple for most builds

ayyy an upload on a friday night

I appreciate that he left it the part with the old sticker and didn't leave it out
bro, use cellulose thinner for sticker residue after you scrape the vinyl stuff off. Love your videos! keep inspiring :)
Bro I know you didn’t Throw the change away 😂😂💀💀
Love watching these videos 🥲🔥
Front plate not required where you are?
Simply clean🤙🏼
It's cool that mostly cleaning can make such a *big* difference!
Nice job! Great videos. Would love to see something with a honda accord.
Just clear coat? Nothing else!
you should really get the full kit there 20$ and you do a little sanding and finally a clear coat. And this process will last long than what he is showing.
I think you should have painted the wheels in matte black and the original wheel covers obviously in nard gray
Doing a $100 budget car transformation, proceeds to throw away money found in car
bro if youre on a budget and only have steelys, hub caps make a difference!
It's the clear coat over the oxidized headlight for me. If you are gonna spend the money on the clear, just do it right. Would look like a new headlight.
Nice and simple!
Wrapping the hubcaps works as well or just take them off and spray paint.
I am from Italy and i want more of this type of video
cleaning added a lot of value to the car
you could continue on with this car with a $200 budget
This is more or less "what are first things you can do to make your newly bought shitbox more liveble".
Great job👍! You didn't do anything about the rust on the fenders and under the car. I thought that was the major reason for lifting the car up🧐
You might have missed the $100 budget part :)
Not bad for a rust bucket tbh. Always liked that model civic but heard its a pain to work on.
Take a paper towel and place it over the sticker. Soak said paper towel with lacquer thinner and let it sit for about 30 seconds, and it'll wipe away.
I would just leave the OG hub caps on there they look better
super budget it a spray can of black and go to town on the hub caps
Buen trabajo! Me gustaría que rescates un vw New beetle ya que es mi auto favorito y ne gustaría ver una transformación
I gotta learn how to drive manual 😫🙏
I think I would have gone the extra mile
How about your friend not be nasty and keep their interior clean?
Use gasoline the remove stubborn stickers next time
NO! What is wrong with you people? Heat up the area and apply an adhesive removers and wait. 🙄
GASOLINE??
My 2012 civic doesnt have hubs and nowhere to put them 😔
Would a go pro be better to use in this video so you can your hands free to do your cleaning better?
honestly a little light DIY detail would transform any car. no excuse on getting you car so filthy.
ive actually never bought something to enter a giveaway but driving around this acura i had enough with and even if i dont win atleast i wont have water spots when i wash my car u sold me there brother
well i was until i realized i had to pay shipping #certfiedbrokeboy
How do I enter to get my car done by you 😭
My wife’s car needs some rescuing plus I got a budget of like 300 around there for the while fully loaded deal if u Guys are willing to do the video I’m with it.
Wurth is good stuff
I can't throw away change
I never understood why someone would throw literal money in the trash?!
avrei optato per la verniciatura dei copricerchi piuttosto che comprarli nuovi. comunque buon lavoro come sempre👍👍
I would like my car transformed and I’m willing to pay
so for 100$ you are basically saying clean it. Also some states require you to have a plate on the front.
Good video
Bro really fucked up 😂😂
Bro got finessed into cleaning his bros dirty ass car 🚘
😂😂😂
Let's give away my Cadillac CTS Vsport would love to see you transform it
Nice eye candy

Hiring a full time videographer and editor in January. Stick around. We're picking up 10 fold really soon!!!
Not satisfied with you just replacing the hub caps thought the point of these was to put in the effort to make it cheap and look better
I think your friend's cleanliness is questionable. He needs a different kind of help 🤔
🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's crazy how someone can let their car get so gross. Like have some pride and dont be lazy.
🔥
I enjoy watching your videos.
But for real who the hell has a car like a dumpster?
YAY
I mean...
This was very cringy to watch considering I’m a detail manager at a ford dealership
Ugly hubcaps. Keep the stocks!!!

Ngl kinda tired of the civics
Honestly the ugliest version of the Honda lol.
