- 2015 KMEA Choirs singing the National Anthem. Approximately 1000 students from all around the state of Kentucky gather together each evening during the KMEA conference to sing our great nation's Anthem. It is truly an amazing experience. THIS VIDEO MAY NOT BE UPLOADED TO ANY OTHER CHANEL WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM ME! I am the owner of this video.

I am not sure I get your meaning behind "is this cause a typical liberal posted it?" I am the one who posted it and I am definitely not a liberal. My comment is because several people have tried to start political wars here and I refuse to allow political garbage to stain what this video is all about. It is about a group of high school children who most don't know each other, coming together and honoring the greatest nation in the world! That's it......

Absolutely beautiful.I'm not an american but I'm convinced this is the way the US anthem was meant to be sung and not like the butchered version by the pop stars at sporting events.

This is what the anthem should be like every time it is sung. Never by some pop band or singer who adds their own twist to it.
If it was this way every time then it wouldn’t be so special

Thank you for your service. I am a USCG Veteran and have always been moved by our Anthem. Standing in this hotel and witnessing this even always brought me to tears.

I participated in KMEA in 2012 with both band and choir and sung the National Anthem in this hotel. It was absolutely one of the single most accomplishing feelings of my life and I would do it over in a heartbeat.
Hey I'm in this one. This is the last time I sang the anthem at KMEA and I really didn't expect to take it so seriously 7 years later.
I love picking out my own teenage head in the video and knowing that the young man I see there had no idea what would happen to him in life.

That’s amazing!!! I had 2 children that sang in this one! It was one of my favorite times of year going through KMEA!!! The experience never failed to move me to tears!

I personally think this is how the national anthem should be sung, not by one person or a few people, but the whole audience or crowd or stadiums of people should sing it, that shows their respect for the country and deep down in their hearts how much they love it. When these people sang it you can really hear their emotion, science has proven that when a large group of people sing together, their heart beats sink together with the rhythm and beat together

I just found out about this via Twitter. This is absolutely the best rendition of our National Anthem that I've ever heard. So amazing!!! I can listen to this over and over.
I sang in the choruses of the Massachusetts Music Educators Association in 1996 and 1997, and we did something like this too. Nice to see total strangers putting common interests and skills to good use for their own enjoyment, as well as that of others. Bravo!

I'm not American and am far from America's biggest fan, especially at the moment, but this rendition was simply stunning. It was mythic, grand and sweeping, both soft and quite but also triumphant, sincere and deeply powerful. It completely took my breath away in stunned awe. I love my own country's national anthem, but I've never heard any anthem (not sure even any song) sung quite like this before.

This is my favorite performance of the Star Spangled Banner ever. I’ve listened to almost every National Anthem in existence, and though I may be biased given I am in the US, I think ours is the most beautiful. It’s a pity that we don’t live up to it anymore.

Ilovesimsfreeplay16 its the Kentucky all state choir. Its pretty much a chair made of all of the best high schoolers in the state. they also have all state band for band students as well. only the best of the best get in
These kids work so hard to get into this choir!!!! I have been fortunate enough to have had 3 of my children participate in this choir over 9 years! My 20 year old daughter was a prat of this for 7 years! It was an amazing experience and qualified her to travel Europe for a month singing with another choir!!!
I am in a high school band and have been for a while and the syncronization especially given the size of the room and amount of voices was truly increadible the chords were full and heavy I loved every second. this should be the only way this song can be sang.
