I think immortality in anime has many definitions, immortal here doesn't mean you can't be killed, or it doesn't mean you have to have immortality forever, or it doesn't mean you can't die. yes i know hidan can die from exhaustion of nutrients, but he is still alive even though his head is beheaded, yes i know Ban sacrificed his immortality, but we can't deny that he was immortal after drinking the water of immortality, although now he has lost his immortality.

@@SasukeART i think immortality in anime is extremely flawed there are characters that would killed if some living conditions aren't met(for example the Hidan with the nutrition), some can be blown to bits like Madara, some later have statements that contradict them being immortal or suggesting immortality isn't unkillable in anime like Kaguya in the Boruto novels
Ban was immortal and was actually regenerating after blown to bits by Astarossa so we can't point out to flaws with his immortality
