I’m not sure why I thought this would involve more Black ppl but maybe it has to do with the fact at it’s titled after a song created by Black ppl. Does that not seem off to anyone else? The movie seems interesting but this title seems off. I get that the Male Lead is a party guy but it’s very misleading.

Just watched the movie. Those of you who are contemplating whether to watch it or not, GO DO IT. It's refreshing and original. A proper feel-good movie. You will LOVE to have spent 2 hours on this I assure you.
This movie is soooooo good. Just watched it and everything about it is just amazing.. acting, storyline, soundtracks .. Dakota produced it as well .. she’s just brilliant. I wish it’s soundtracks were available on RUclips .. especially the one at end credits is just mesmerising ❤️

This trailer looks so amazing and I'm sure the movie is going to be great but it is kind of annoying to keep seeing this thing that Hollywood and filmmakers are doing where every portrayal of women on screen is just automatically being put in the "mom" box once the actress is passing 30. And yes, stories like these are important to tell but we need to start making them more realistic and making the casting choices more age appropriate and more real. It's just also seem that every time that there is a mom character she has to be young and hot to be "worthy" of a love story. Hollywood needs to change.
I like to sometimes detach myself from what "should offend me", and just connect with a story that portrays real human emotions. I guess just for an instant it's real smooth.
I honestly have a funny story with this movie. I saw it was on some list and liked the name cha cha real smooth, said I would watch it but then FORGOT the name. I have spent the last few months combing through my search history searching for what the name of this movie is called and then I finally found it, and now will watch the movie after seeing this trailer lol.
