Joe Hisaishi Residency with the Seattle Symphony

Joe Hisaishi returned to Benaroya Hall in January 2024, this time for a rare, weeklong residency with the Seattle Symphony. The week was packed with a variety of sold-out concerts and events, including an exciting time investment from the composer into Seattle Symphony’s community initiatives.
Joe Hisaishi's performances were generously underwritten by Yuka Shimizu, along with Jeanne Berwick and James Degel.
