O no, it was your new Willier. Super elegant bike btw. I hope the bike will recover as well as you seem to be doing, Phil. What I admire in you is that you are so open about your failures next to your achievements. And that you are able to laugh about yourself to a certain extent. Great fun this music and light when the Willier was introduced. 😊
Well said, Agnes! Quiet London was just stunning again (before it all went wrong). You might have a little treat soon Agnes, the making of a (this) THUMBNAIL ;-) (Don't tell Phill)
agnesrosalinde thats so so lovely of you Agnes - I hugely value your support and opinion 🙏🙏. Yes.... 8kms is all it took for me to break it🙃. Luckily I’ve had plenty of failure in my time - and know how important it is to embrace the lows... I really hope to do justice to the Wilier on the climb - once it’s back from the Bike Drs!
@@KOMHuntTV Spot on 😁😁
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy thank you, Phil 😊 That's kind.
I do appreciate the candor. Demoralizing misadventure really.
Had something similar (to a much lesser extent) happen to me on my first road bike. Embarrassingly I failed to unclip before a redlight on a cobblestones section in my home city and crashed to the ground, scratching the handlebars, cutting open my comfy tape and bruising my knee badly.
Couldn't live that down for weeks!
Cheers Wes 🙏 - was indeed demoralising to hit the only car in central London during the pandemic restrictions 😅. Took me a while to recover from also - not to mention a long time for the bike to be repaired . Your own misadventure sounds just like the kind of thing I’d do also - glad you eventually lived it down though ! 🤣
I'm so sorry Phill that looked terrible. After all your hard and dedicated workouts . You must have been heartbroken! I'm glad your ok and not to badly injured. Also your lovely new bike .Get well soon Phill please dont give up it's a great sport .
Paul Smith Thanks so much Paul - thats extremely kind of you 🙏🙏. I was very shocked - but at the same time grateful to be able to limp away and get back on the bike indoors after 5 days. For me its the process of training and gradually progressing plus enjoying zwift and other little challenges on the bike thats much more important than the bike itself - and the crash certainly reinforced that. Not giving up - but will be hunting down quiet training venues (closed circuits and quiet hills) for outdoor rides 👍
The emergency gurney has got the corridor KOM. Just to cheer you up I nearly had an accident the first time I came to London in the bike lanes when I saw a big Pinewood studios van opposite and shouted, "Make some good Star Wars films" just as roadie was steaming towards me and told me to get out of the way. Thankfully no accident but hope you recovered both physically and your pride, as from subsequent videos you did.
🤣 Thats quite the anecdote, Dan!! The London Cycle lanes are indeed safe yet supremely dangerous at the same time 🥵 Just about recovered my dignity from managing to crash into the only car in central London on that day…. Only to crash again in late May (into nothing ! - simply broke too hard on the front brake ..) Stay safe Sir!!
You're inspirational but also show that you are a real genuine person.
Items can be replaced, you can't be. It's just a minor set back in the epic quest. Heal well, we're all looking forward to see future brutal training content.
Adam Mills thats really lovely of you to say so Adam 🙏 .. am certainly a very fallable, prone to clumsy individual ... 🙃. And I couldn’t agree more - its the process of training and having fun with fitness that I enjoy - much more valuable than the bike. So I consider myself very lucky to have limped away from that.... And I can report, Ed has put back on the deck some pretty emotional trainings 🤪
I’m glad you came out the other side phil. just be sure you are Ok psychologically as well as physically, Its not just the injuries that can cause a problem, the damage to your pride and joy can be hard to take. I was knocked off last year, well clipped by a wing mirror comming the other way (old lady on the wrong side of the road) sent me flying through the air, fortunatly into a nice soft bed of stinging nettles! Felt more sorry for the old lady than myself despite the few bangs scrapes and burning sensation! until I got home and assessed the state of the bike. thats when I felt really upset, I still question my self, could I had avoided the impact even though I was compleatly unavoidable. Take time to talk to someone if you need to get it out of your system. I’m sure you have people around you that can be a sounding board. Take care Phil we all need you on RUclips.
Badgers Eyebrow I really appreciate your lovely personal post 🙏 And definately I found the next 5 days very hard - wadering if I’d done permenent damage to the legs - and the headaches were quite severe. I’d only ridden it 8km - so not enough for even a Strava post, but it’s bought home to me the importance of health and fitness first, and enjoying the training, and flashy bike 2nd. Your crash sounds very nasty - and its a testement to you that your initial concern was for the old lady that hit you. And then when you get home, the stress hormones subside. I was very angry with myself (still am) but acutely so for 2 weeks after. And to your point I know from experience I’ll be even more cautious once back riding outside. Am lucky to have Jayne - and also the wonderful cycling comunity. All the comments have been so wonderful - am super grateful 🙏. Stay healthy yourself 👍
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy Good to see all is well Phil, keep riding and posting we all enjoy watching your exploits. Thank you.
Main thing is that you are aye ok Phil....chapeau NHS!! Wicked bike......and that colour is stunning a perfect choice. Looking forward to a real reveal mate. All the best chap, go steady!
WayneClark72 NHS ✊✊✊. And for sure Wayne - I’m extremely fortunate to have not sustained much worse injuries. I’m glad you like the Wilier - its really pretty....just hoping to do justice to it once back outside and on the climb 🤞. Definately will be taking it very carefully once back outdoors - and will likely focus much more indoors - and get myself checked out by a physio. Thanks for your support 🙏
Glad you have been back on the indoor bike so soon. My son saw the thumbnail and said "Lightweight Mielensteins! I thought they were only in Zwift!". After my fall my bike was OK, no collision, but I remember being furious as I couldn't get out of the post-crash bath!
D.J.Hunter Thanks so much DJ 🙏 - I was very fortunate that the HEXR did it’s job and enabled me to train again inside after 5 days. As you say it’s super painful after a crash - my legs were so stiff and swollen and painful that I had to go down the stairs on my bum! Please tell your son thats the main reason I got them - I was literally about to film a little segment outside Buckingham Palace where amongst other things I was going to say that I remembered the thrill of getting the Lightweight Mielensteins after climbing Alp Du Zwift - and thought it would be fun (and a little expensive) to put them on a bike ! 💯👍
Oh Phil I feel you're pain, I crashed on January 15th, the ball joint drove right up through my left hip and shattered it, a 5 hour operation on the 20th January later I have a Titanium plate screwed to my hip holding it all together, I had a 17 day stay in hospital, the reason I waited 5 days for the operation is the best hip surgeon in the Country #Sharon #Scott was in high demand, but If I was getting the best, I told them make me comfortable and I'll wait...then it was 2 month's of hard Physiotherapy...I was off the bike for 77 day's, got back on the bike April 2nd...I've managed 127 rides and clocked up 3,521 miles on the new hip, my surgeon has been blown away by my progress 😀 .....and the NHS are outstanding, my care was priceless.....sorry for banging on mate, 😉
Wow - I’m so so sorry to hear what you’ve been through FTW!! And sounds like the surgeons did an amazing job in order to get you back on the bike for April 💯✊. Kudos to you for making the smart decision to wait and then get fully recovered before getting back on - the fact that you’ve been able to do 127rides is simply amazing !!! 💪✊
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy As the saying go's, if it doesn't kill you, it only makes you stronger 💪🏻
Well, as much as any avid cyclist hates to see such a fine machine damaged, bottom line, it is replaceable, you are not! Glad you have at this point seemed to recover and are moving forward again.
Jim Davenport thanks Jim - thats hugely appreciated 🙏 And definitely I’m very fortunate that the injuries were not much worse.. and the bike... its a beautiful machine, but as you say fully replaceable 👍
Unfortunately crashing is part of cycling... good to see you have your priorities in order Phil... didn’t event get out of the torn kit, but straight into a kit review to inspect for damages! 😂 that proves you’re a real racer now.
Great to see that you’ve been on the mend and back up to no good on Zwift... that Wilier looks awesome!
Chris Clarke 😂Thanks so much Chris - and for sure always best to try and press on and get the job done (no matter how embarassing 😁). I’ve had a few crashes including in the racing - but was very fortunate to limp away from this one 💯. Hoping to do justice to the beautiful Wilier once it’s back.
Hopefully the Wilier will rise from the ashes.. beautiful bike, love the fully integrated cockpit look!! Get well Phil and lets hope the bad luck is over for a while!!
Cor yeah... not "cable-less" but just hidden (but we'll let him off this time) ;-) It certainly make the bike look next level. And that BLUE is eye-poppingly stunning
OldSlow Thanks OldSlow 🙏 I’m hopeful it can be repaired 🤞. Its insured - so one way or another. I’ll be hoping for a run of better health - but will also be taking it cautiously once back outside. Loved the video link you sent me the other day - put a detailed reply in the comments 🙏
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy That guy have several really interesting vids on his channel =)
Kudos for posting the video about it, bike looked (and will do again) stunning. What I like about this channel is that its a proper journey in cycling warts and all, not a glossy only show the good time bits. I suppose you can always think you've now got another new bike day to come...
Mike Dodson cheers Mike - thats super kind of you as ever 🙏. Its a beauty for sure - and hopefully will be once again 🤞 It’s important for me to share the lows - and the failures.... I’ve always found just when all is going well, a little swerve ball presents itself 😬
Been dreading this video and it's a double whammy. Glad your injuries were superficial and the Wilier can be patched up but the thought of riding up the Alpe another 1000 times for the Lightweights must be truly heart breaking 😢😢😢
Gavin Smith thats extremely kind of you Gavin - hugely appreciated 🙏. You are 100% correct - I was really lucky to limp away from it, and get back riding indoors as fast. And over the first couple of days when all the limbs swelled up and the pain commenced, it reinforced to me that its the process of training and cycling thats way more important than the bike (lovely though it is). 👌. I way saying above that the reason I got the lightweights was due to the thrill of getting them following a climb up Alp du Zwift 👌 - so now time to see if the insurance covers them, or get peddaling up the alp ....😂
My heart rate maxed out watching that! So glad you are ok, thanks for sharing.
Andrew Barrie thanks Andrew - thats really lovely of you to be so thoughtful 🙏. I was very lucky indeed to have the helmet do it’s job so well, and to be able to limp away from the hospital. I’m really pleased you like the vidoe - because it’s important for me to show the lows and mistakes. Much appreciated ✊
I appreciate your videos Phil. Showing some hard yards right there. Heal well, looking forward to seeing you back on your bike, strong and determined. Bless you brother.
some182muchlunch Thats really motivating to hear 💯 - and thanks so much 🙏. I do attract the occasional mishap.... but am now well on the road to recovery, and loving making the content. Really appreciate your very kind support ✊
Wow!!!! How are you back already. Glad your ok, could of been so much worse. You can always, always replace a bike. On a side note, that’s not a saddle......it’s a wafer !!!
HAHAHA I was thinking the same!
Philip Churchill 😁😁 A very light wafer Philip - and time will tell if I ca sit on it for 4-6 hours 🤞. Really appreciate your kind words - and 💯 it could have been a lot lot worse. The HEXR was the star of the day 👌
Wow the bike is a beauty (as is Buddy). The main thing is that you will be back to full fitness soon. Thanks for sharing the video.
Malcolm Ainsley Thats very kind of you Malcolm 🙏- it’s a thoroughbred, and I very much hope to do it some justice once its back 🤞. Fitness is building again - odly enough its easier to pedal than walk - so zwifting came back on the aggenda after about 5 days 🤞
YES more of buddy next time. Buddy & Phill collab with buddy in the bike trailer PLEASE
Speedy recovery Phil. Hopefully won't be long before you're getting koms again!
HumaneNewt thats super kind of you 😂 - and I’m well on the mend. Was able to cycle indoors after 5 days, albeit still limping. I’ll be back out in the next few weeks, but taking care about where I ride ..... quiet KOMS will be the name of the game 👌
Very open and honest and raw Phill , glad you’re on the mend . You were a beast on the Bologna course on Saturday . The bike is /was / will be amazing !
Andrew Long Thats so so kind of you Andrew 🙏. It’s important to show the lows ... but in reality I was very lucky to be only limping badly given the impacts. Bologna was a very unexpected surprise 💯 - and really appreciate your kind words of support - I will do my best to provide justice to the Wilier 🤞
Respect for sharing this Phill, you must have been gutted. Glad this hasn't dishearted you and you've come back even stronger - ride on!! 💪💪
Kev Day Thanks Kev - thats very nice of you to say so! Need to share the lows as well as the highs.... I’m definitely still in love with cycling - but likely a little more cautious outside (especially now I can ride Mont Ventoux from the comfort of my flat! ) Thanks again for the heads up 🙏
Sweet bike, Phil! New Bike Day is always a great day! Speedy recovery to you. Hopefully you get to enjoy your bike. Stay safe and healthy.
Reggie Peters much appreciated Reggie 🙏😁 - it’s a beautiful thoroughbred bike......which I managed to ride for 8kms 🙃. I’m very fortunate not tgo have sustained much worse injuries - so whilst this is indeed a masterclass in how NOT to do new bike day, the reality is that I’m beyond fortunate ! A propper review will follow - and wishing you health and safety also 👍💯
Ouch! Get well soon.
Congrats on New Bike day
UK0071 😂 ouch ! indeed😁. Much appreciated - am on the mend 🙏. Not exactly a traditional new bike day...
Aw Phil! That’s such bad luck. Get better soon, new kit curse ey, 😤 I’ve had that too. Hope you are back on the bike soon!
Thanks so much Haddi 🙏 - didn’t realise the new kit curse was a thing 🙃. ..... am well recovered now, and cycling indoors . Hope all good for you 👍
Sorry to hear about your crash Phill. I hope that you are on the mend.
You must have been near tears on the new bike too. I am sure that you have insurance but it’s also worth you checking out a company called CAMS. I work in a bike shop and we use them for accidents like yours and they are very good. You don’t need to pre registered with them, they get your bike and kit sorted ASAP then claim from the car drivers insurance.
Take care of yourself,
Jon
Jon Heath Thats really lovely of you Jon 🙏 - I was pretty upset about the bike - but as I reflected on it the thing I was most upset by was not being able to train. Its insured with Yellow Jersey - so hopefuly once x-rayed it will be ok. Really appreciate the tip on CAMS 🙏. Am well on the road to recovery now 🤞 - and do stay healthy yourself 👍
My wife and I have been working our way through your videos from the start. Must have seen three quarters of them, albeit I skipped ahead to this one as the subject matter caught my eye. Wanted to let you know that yours is a truly fantastic journey as documented through the videos. Love the fact that you came to this fresh faced (soon to turn to a grimace ...) and eager to test / develop yourself on two wheels. Having the same Atom / Zwift set up as you made some of the early videos concerning your recommended sessions especially pertinent to me, not least because I have only had this set up for around eight months. Very much enjoy your self deprecating humour / honest insight into your own progression, and your FTP figures are the stuff of envy (I might also be 65kg but with only a measly 221w FTP). Laughable that you doubt your own mental toughness - anyone that can get up regularly in the dark to do weird and wonderful one legged exercises in a cold looking gym is not to be doubted when it comes to fortitude !
Given the weight loss, rising FTP, cat 4 then cat 3 licenses, plus exciting purchase of two Italian beauties (hope the latest recovers well post frame x-ray), I fully expect that by the time I reach your latest video, you'll have been signed up by a World Tour Team !
Keep on riding Phill, you're an absolute legend in our household and long may you continue producing such inspiring / hilarious / informative content. Chapeau !!
Charles 😄 - you’ve made my weekend !! Thanks so much 🙏. Through the WattBike I found the world of cycling - and have loved the process of understanding how to train (and recover!). I really enjoy making the videos, and charting the training, strength and nutrition tips that I’m using (and hopefully will help others). And most of all I’m blown away by the wonderful cycling community - which is extremely encouraging and supportive. Your FTP of 3.5W/kg is a really strong base to build from. And certainly for me the polarised training from Ed was a big help. But the 40:20s and sub thresholds on Zwift (.....plus the dreaded Gorby) are all excellent polarised sessions. And lately they’ve added Step By Step - which is horrid, but very very effective. If you and your wife have any questions relating to what’s helped me and may help either of you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. And thanks again for your very kind support, it’s super motivating 👍💯🙏
Thanks for such a detailed and generous response, the fact that you've enjoyed the journey thus far comes across loud and clear in terms of your enthusiastic videos. I have loved, and am loving the Atom / Zwift combo, even to the extent of doing 50 days in a row when lockdown started (coach Ed definitely would not approve - amateurish !). I have gone through the 12 week Build Me Up programme, and am coming towards the end of the 4 week FTP booster programme. Having heard what you (and also Ed) say about polarised training, I will move towards focussing on that to see how it builds on the base fitness created since regular use of the machine from January. Keep up the great work Phil, both in terms of your personal progression and your excellent videos, and I'm grateful for your kind offer re questions - am bound to have some once I've dipped my toes into the waters of polarised training !
Tough vid to watch Phill , you really looked banged up in the hospital and I was imagining how stiff and painful it would be waking up the next day. I came off a 7 day old new motorbike many years ago and its pretty distressing. I rarely venture outside riding these days despite itching to in the good weather. Mental drivers and shoddy roads have eaten into my enjoyment of cycling. So glad youre doing much better going from your recent uploads
A quick word on the bike though...boy what a lovely looking bike , just my cup of tea and I hope to see it in full on action soon. Take care
David Ives thanks so much for sharing your own misadventure, David and also your very kind words 🙏. I can see myself doing the majority of my training indoors -and maybe once a week outdoors if the closed circuits reopen or I’m able to travel by car to a convenient hill! I was descending the stairs on my bottom - legs swelled up something speciual, and had a few bad headaches. But now well on the mend thanks 🙏 Its a lovely bike - and when I get it back, I’ll find a quiet hill and provide a propper review. Stay healthy! 👍
Good Lord Phil, A devastating blow ,but all part of our sport unfortunately. You're a beast! and will be back on top in no time. Rest up and get back at it ASAP. Really enjoy your content, Thank you.
Price's Off Grid Property thats really good of you to say so, and hugely appreciated 🙏🙏. I do love the process of training - so was very lucky to be able to pedal ok after 5 days. It does knock a bit of confidence out of you - and for sure I’ll be back on the bike outdoors soon (hopefully the new.. repaired one🤞). Plenty more to come - and thanks so much for your support 🙏👍
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy Oh, and the Wilier is a fantastic bit of kit
Glad you’re ok Phill. These things happen, but it’s great to see you’ve not lost your drive and enthusiasm having watching your Bologna race 👍💪
Michael Williams that’s super kind of you Michael 🙏and 100% - I’ve not lost my drive to train or zwift race. Love the lifestyle 💪 I’ll be a little more careful about where I ride or train outdoors. Likely quiet hills or closed circuits 🙃
Glad your ok Phil. Loving the vlogs. Keep it up 👍🏼
# Littleian thats very kind of you Littleian 🙏 - I very much appreciate your support, and love making the vlogs 👌
Oooo gosh. Phill, Hannah and I are glad your ok. 🙌, H really felt for you when u were walking down that corridor! Take ur time to recover friend! ✊
Samuel J. Turton Really appreciate that - from Mr & Mrs P1 in Zwift 🙏 - aka the new Zwift Racing Power couple ✊. Am super fortunate to be able to train and ride indoors - so could have been much worse. The corridor scene came from no-where, but pretty much summed up the day 🙃
I think we'll be talking about that corridor scene for a while to come. I watched it before Nat, I almost just watched her watching it when we caught up
Swift recovery too you mate👍🚴♀️🏴
Stephen Moore Much appreciated Stephen 🙏 - all progresing ok thanks 🤞. Hello to beautiful Scotland also ✊
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy I think it🏴 is mate😂😂👍
Watching this as a back catalogue of videos ~ glad you ok now ~ but this is a good video to remind people that the hat is sooooo important on the roads shared by motor vehicles. I am reminded of an incident that some guys riding down lanes in Kent ~ criterium style riding on unclosed roads will unwind into chancy moves happening at wrong time wrong place off camber wet corners ~ resulted in one rider losing it and head butting a vehicle wheel and his hat saving his life . One air ambulance later and a shook up couple were able to leave scene 4 hrs later (The car driver ex keen cyclist himself) . Interesting the rider was on new bike with disc brakes .......
Thanks so much for checking out the back catalogue, Ben. The crash was a nasty shock, and I'm a lot more cautious as a result (albeit when I crashed it I wasn't going too fast or racing). The situation you describe is a very nasty one - and the helmet makes a massive difference - but still you need luck not to do serious harm.... I also prefer training on the closed circuits in London (or the Inner Circle at Regent's Park) - for sure the safest places to go for harder / faster efforts.
Beautiful beautiful bike. So unlucky Phil and glad you’re OK, but that’s the risks we take with cycling. Chin up Pal.
Dave Rawson Thanks Dave 🙏 - it’s a very pretty bike, and I intend to do it justice on the climbs (once mended) 🤞. And for sure - it is a risk, and I’m very grateful the injuries were not much worse - the helmet did it’s job well 💯👍
I really hope you feel strong soon. Thank you for sharing the video. I really liked your thoughts about the pandemic and whether it was appropriate to show your new toy given the times. Top man, you have all my respect for that...not the norm nowadays. Congratulations. And the bike... beautiful
Alejandro Chicharro Cano Alejandro - I’m blown away by your very kind words 🙏💯. Aside from the big expense related to all things cycling (and in particular this bike), the crash also reinforced for me what matters most to me within the sport: And for me thats having the health and fitness to enjoy the feeling of the hard efforts during the training and as a result to have shared experiences within the cycling community. The flashy bike is lovely - but it’s not even close to the main event. Whenever I’m ill or injured and unable to train, thats always the way for me. I hope to do the bike justice in the mountains and climbs. Thanks again - hugely appreciated ✊
Phil - hope you’re okay mate. I must say terrific outlook portrayed in that, in what I’m sure was a trying situation. Wishing you a speedy recovery and back KOM hunting soon enough.
Adam Alexander O Connell Thanks so much Adam - that it really lovely of you to say so 🙏🙏. I’m recovering well - was able to cycle indoors after 5 days, but am still limping 2 weeks on! Am super grateful to to be training again - thats always the thing I miss most when ill or injured 👍
Honestly, more and more I have no issue opting to ride Zwift. when you live in a city dodging cars is becoming more and more part of the equation. Glad that you weren't seriously injured
Michael Steele Thanks so much Michael 🙏👍 and whilst I do love riding outdoors, I do have to concur, living in London. I got into cycling outdoors via Zwift, and can’t fault the convenience and safety or quality of training & racing. And with Road Grand Tours and other apps - there’s so much you can do from the safety of your home. I’ll be back out training outside every so often in London, but really need the closed circuits to reopen in order to get in any quality outdoor training 🤞
That's a nice bike. That risk of needing an ambulance and ending up in A&E is the reason I haven't ridden my bike outside since early March. I do miss it.
Daren Chandisingh - Faster After Fifty Much appreciated Daren 🙏 I hope to do it justice once its back 🤞. And for the same reason, I hadn’t ridden outdoors for 9 weeks - but figured 6am in London, with a training at the inner circle of Regent’s would be low risk... We are so lucky to have Zwift 💯👌
Glad you seem to be recovered now. Hope the frame is ok, that Wilier frame looks amazing in Blue.
Rich Cook thanks Rich 🙏 - much appreciated 👍. I was very lucky not to sustain much worse injuries - and to your point the frame looks ok, but does need x-raying for stress fractures. I love the electric blue too - really pops👌
I've never seen a blue pop that like, it's stunning!
Phil...I really do feel for you pal, that is an absolutely beautiful bike, you must've been truly gutted when you came off. I bet the first thing you checked was the bike and not yourself!! Am I right ??? Fair play to you showing the whole caper off in all its painfull glory. I have to say though, the bit in the corridor had me laughing my arse off!
I knew you'd taken a tumble but didn't realise it was this bad! You'll be back smashing it in no time, get well mate!
Artifex Joinery Thanks so much Carlos 🙏 - I was alternating between disbelief, anger at myself and being thankful that I was not more badly injured. Sress hormones in full flow ! I was on the ground for 30mins with the police and ambulance - so the first time I saw the bike was back home (Jayne came out and got it). Glad you liked the coridor - it just suddenly came from inside and I let the phone camera roll 😁
Phill your recent zwift race shows you are on the mend. I’m gutted for you, such a beautiful bike and new Jersey and glasses too that would be my luck. But it’s a testament to you how even after a crash like that you had a sense of humour. I have to admit I laughed at the corridor of doom and No KOM on the corridor segment !
Newb Cyclist thats really lovely of you Wayne 🙏 - the corridoor limp kind of emerged from no-where 🙃. I’m clumsy - so it’s to be expected that I make a mess of the new gear.... and in reality I’m super lucky not to have been more badly injured - the HEXR was sensational . Nicely on the mend now - so fingers crossed I’ll be able to get the fitness back up to scratch 🤞
That KOM KOridor one is mine when I visit London!

Adrien BMC thanks so much Adrien 🙏 - really appreciate your very kind support 👍💯. I love making the content - and indeed the bike was bought to hit some of the amazing climbs in France 👌 - and will be out there (freedom of movement allowing 🤞). I’m recovering well, and hope to be able to unclip shortly and have a little outdoor training somewhere quiet in London soon 🤞
You are ok You will get another bike You will get back to where you were - listen to your body and you will bounce back - there’s a solution for everything all the best In you recovery and keep the blogs going
brian young very true Brian - I consider myself extremely fortunate to be back riding indoors 🙏 The injuries could have been much much worse, and to your point the bike was insured and the helmet was sensational. And have been filming some more for the vlog the last 5-6 days. Really appreciate your kind words and support 🙏👍
important thing is that you are in one piece and walking. speedy recovery to you sir!
Nazar Sparrow Thanks Nazar - and 100% - I’m extremely fortunate to have not sustained much worse injuries 🙏. Am recovering well - have been cycling indoors, but still liping - but hope to be baxck to normal soon 👍
It happens to us all Phil, tek it easy like a Jamaican and get well soon bro 👊🏾
Paul Morrison thanks Paul - lots of people are saying the same! Relaxing has always been a weakness - but I’ll give it a go 👍. Hope you and the family are well - and looking forward to your FTP increase post all the traiing 💪✊
The family are all well thanks 👍🏾. I doubt I’ll see any major increase in my FTP, if at all as I haven’t been consistent with my training due to family/work commitments but fingers crossed it’s not lower 🤞🏾
I'm so sorry for your crash; it's scary how it can all change in a second. Thank God for bike helmets.
Thanks so much Stanislao 🙏 - it was a big big shock when it happened back in May, but I did make a full recovery. And I could not agree more - the HEXR helmet was critical to me not getting a much much worse injury - I’m very grateful 💯
Glad your okay Phil🙏 wear your badges proudly 💪
Maurice much appreciated Maurice 🙏🙏 - thats easy because the road rash does linger 😁🙃
Good to see you're back on top form after the crash Phill. I'm sure the bike will be gracing those alpine climbs in due course! 💪🚴♂️

As a new subscriber just looking through your back catalogue Phil. Damn I didn't know the willier had such a fraught introduction to life.
So glad you had that helmet on, this Is why I like your videos always so upbeat despite a massive setback. Nice one.
Thank you very much for subscribing, Andrew - and for checking out previous videos. It's hugely appreciated! Yes - rode it 7km, and hit a car head on, and the helmet made a massive difference. I do love the training and cycling - and glad this comes across in the vlogs!
I'm sure you will become stronger from this experience Phil. Ride on 💪
Gerry Barnes much appreciated Gerry 🙏 - and for sure when I realised in hospital how close I’d come to not being able to ride for a long time or worse, it certainly refocuses the mind on appreciating health & fitness, and making the best of it 💪
True Phil... mind, body and soul. As far as have seen, your doing great on all 3 👍
Bike Racing Without Mercy never nice coming off the bike, came off 2 weeks ago , had no recollection of incident but aches pains and 21 stitches in thigh . 2 weeks later went same route down same descend just slowly and more aware. Get well soon, your be back to normal and this will be just a memory
Carl Baker wow!! So sorry to hear that Carl - that must have been incredibly stressful once you came around! Really pleased to hear you’ve made a full recovery 👍 - and very well done for getting basck on the bike and confronting the scene of the accident so quickly ✊. Stay healthy
hope you will get well soon and get at it again. and alsow hoping your bike gets fix soon
Jan Hvirgeltoft Much appreciated Jan 🙏👍- I was very fortunate to limp away from it. And am now well on the mend and able to ride indoors 👌. Hoping the bike will be repaired soon - it needs to be xrayed to make sure no hidden stress fractures 🤞
Only just seen this one Phil! Love the fact that whether you are powering through difficult workouts or whether you’ve been unfortunate to have an accident and damage your pride/wallet, you’ve still uploaded to RUclips 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Shows great balance to your character...def my favourite RUclips subscription!!. What are you thoughts on tubeless tyres? Been thinking myself of making that switch
I’m blow away by your wonderful support, Noel 🙏. And always happy to share the steps back as well as those forward 👍. I was getting a lot of punctures riding around London and on one of the crit circuits (Hogg Hill) so I swapped out to the Continental 5000 tubeless - on the recommendation of my bike shop. And fingers crossed - no puncture so far. I have them on both bikes 👌
Wishing you a speedy recovery Phil! Really beautiful bike. Please film the cute dog when you go back to pickup the repaired bike ;)
Erwin Ripmeester Thanks Erwin 🙏 thats very kind of you. I love the bike too - and can’t wait to ride it on the climb and give it a propper review 🤞. And most definately - Buddy the Boston Terrier should have his own channel 👌😇
Obviously the most important thing is that you're okay, Phill. Which I think that we've seen recently on the live streams and from the fact you didn't lose your sense of humor.
However, such a shame that it had to be the newly delivered bike that got hit. Makes me really sad, and surely must've been been a horrible realization for you to at the the time. Still, it definitely could've been worse even on that front. Looked like the frame escaped without taking too much damage. :)
Lord Di Lego Thats lovely of you Lord - and 100%, in the immediate aftermath of the crash, I was alternating between relief that I was not dead, and despair at the extent of the injuries and damage.... It reinforces the value of the helmet and insurance. Without that HEXR, I would not have been back at work let alone on Zwift. Glad you liked the corridor limp! Not sure where that came from - I guess my little way of dealing with the stress and shame of the crash! Frame looked ok, but it is being xrayed for stress fractures 🤞. Thanks for all your support 🙏
Trouble is... I now do wonder what it will take to lose his sense of humour!? What a pro to get the phone out and roll just to give us some content
I was not looking forward to this vid - Get better soon! It is a VERY sexy bike though, damn I think I need to get myself a new one like that :D
Quentijn Mulleneers Thanks Quentijn - was a very low 7-8 days after the crash. But I’m extremely fortunate to be back riding indoors. For the 8kms I rode it, I can say it felt good - but I’ll do a proper review once I have it back 🤞
I'm gladenned you're on the mend. You're still faster than me!
Cameron Ogilvie thanks so much Cameron - it’s taken a couple of weeks, but starting to lose the limp, and have been enjoying cycling indoors for a week or so. I’m sure with your consistent training (and recovery!) your power and speed will soon be close to mine 🤞✊
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy I'm 197cm tall... and weigh 15kg more than you do... The likelyhood of that is remote with my CdA/frontal area that of a bus.
Cameron Ogilvie ahhhh - then you’ll beat me in a flatter time trial one day 👍
I’ve given this a like but I really don’t like the fact that you got injured and smashed up your new bike. Glad your on the mend and look forward to seeing you back on the bike once it’s fixed. 👍🏻
Monsieur Rouleur Thats very kind of you Adam 🙏 - and I’m very fortunate, because it could have been way way worse. The HEXR was the saviour 💯. I’m not far off being able to unclip without pain - so will have a little ride outside in the near future. And when the Wilier is back, I’ll find a quiet climb and provide a propper review 🤞. Take care youself. ✊
I'm Glad You're OK!
Dan Jelling-Petersen thanks so much Dan 🙏. Really appreciate your very kind support 👍
We are glad you're OK and nothing is too serious Phil, but ouch that look hurt tho 🤯 New bike definitely looks so cool and hope they make the magic for you and it looks like new again 😁💙 Anyway cool video because now we know that you actually like dogs too from this video Hehehe 🐶😜💕
P. S. No worries the stairs workout can wait! 😉💪🏽
Rogue Vogue much appreciated Rogue 🙏 - well on the road to recovery, and will be getting back on the lower body strength next week 🤞 I’m hopeful the bike will be put back to lovely condition - but time will tell... 🤞. And for sure - I do love dogs... almost as much as cats 😁.... and Buddy.... Buddy’s a BOSS 💪👑
Glad you are on the mend Phil. That was a hard watch 🙁 Take care x x x
Jenny Huish Thanks so much Jenny 🙏🙏 I was able to walk again after 5 days or so - and am well on the mend now (riding indoors ! ). I’ll be careful once I venture out again - rest asured 👍
xxx
Is it bad that I started laughing when Phil started walking 😩
Elijah Kwon 😂😂 you’re very welcome to have a laugh at my expense Elijah - could have been much worse. Am fortunate 👌
Had a hard time “liking” the video... man, what a terrible situation with your new bike. So glad you’re okay though!! ...and glad to see you’re already back at it!
Mitch Callihan thanks so much Mitch - agreed it’s not a traditional like 🙃. But thanks for your support 🙏 I was really lucky that the HEXR did it’s job and was able to limp out the hospital - it could have been much worse .. Odly enough with cycling - I was able to pedal indoors without any discomfort, whilst it was still very hard to limp ! Well on the road to recovery now 🤞
Damn that was hard to watch I could feel your emotion get well soon Phil you’ll be back on that beautiful machine soon 🙌🏻👌🏻
Dazza thats very kind of you Dazza 🙏👍 not the best vlog I ever made, or the easiest to air. But felt the need to share the lows.... I do have an amazing ability to make life unnecessarily difficult at times 🙃. Hoping to do it justice once it’s back - and find a quiet hill and provide a propper review. 🤞
Wow - that’s such a nice bike and it really hurts to hear about your off so soon into ownership (I really do feel for you). Glad to hear you’re OK though and it looks like the bike got off OK(ish). Hope you’re on the mend quickly and looking forward to see the reborn Wilier. Oh - and maybe some more Buddy!!
The Fat Triathlete thats very kind of you indeed 🙏 And there’s no doubt that 8kms of riding does indeed classify as early into the ownership! Wouldn’t even merit any kudos on Strava 😂. The frame looked ok to me - but needs to be xrayed for stress fractures - so I’ll review it propperly once I’ve had it back and hit a couple of climbs 🤞. Loved your review of Road Grand Tour Cycling - Kev Day below put me onto it, and then I watched your vid. Really perfect review👌. I also have checked it out now, and also love it. Your simulator analogy is right on the money (I filmed a little piece late last week). Enjoy your training 👍
Ah yes..remember ed coming down to see you to pick it out now.nive bike and colour..hope it's got the all clear by now
shaun edwards we’re the boys in blue Shaun 👌.....well I was for 8km 🙃. Bike is still at the Drs - and needs an x-ray to ensure no stress fractures. Hopefully a propper review is to come over the next month or so 🤞
Yours and Phill's blue bikes are swaying my thoughts on coloured paint jobs! Best I've seen! I did like the matte red in that video Shaun but I think the blue gloss was a good shout
@@KOMHuntTV cheers scott,my blue..has a bit of sparkle in it too..thought I'd adopt a bit of colour this year..waiting on a bright jersey from @chrishallrides @zerolemon !!! Itll get me seen from afar
Can’t believe that phill, what a bike aswell but at least you can walk away from it, looks like that helmet done it’s job
Jack Davis thanks Jack 🙏 - there was a split moment when I was lying on the floor post crash where I too couldn’t beleive it ! But am so so grateful to HEXR for protecting my head - it could have been much much worse ✊
Bloody hell Phil, main thing is that you’re ok. The bike will repair if the frame is ok. Probably need an X-ray to be sure. Yes is sucks and you’re no doubt gutted, especially for the lightweight wheels. I know I would be, they’re a fortune. And yes always wear an helmet. Life savers without a doubt. Just get yourself right then focus on the rebuild. Chin up Phil the bike will rise again
Tony Strange Thanks Tony - I’m super lucky to be back riding indoors - the helmet played a blinder 💯. Yellow Jersey are evaluating the damage including frame x-rays, but hopeful to have it back in a couple of weeks or so. No real rush... The rebuild has started - back riding indoors, for some reason ok to pedal, but limping is still on the agenda 🙃
Bike Racing Without Mercy Good to hear Phil. And when you get it back, stick in the back of the landy and take it out to the country for some quiet hill riding. You’ve earned it.
Tony Strange amen to that Tony 👌💯
So sorry you had an unfortunate accident. Speedy recovery ❤️
Terry Tinsel Thanks Terry- thats very kind of you 🙏. Am recovering well now - cycling indoors has been fine (after about a week). Hopeing to try back outdoors on the c60 in the not too distant future 🤞
Damn Phil, rough to see you so beaten up. Good to see you are already doing hard sessions again!
Ruben de Klerk thats super kind of you Ruben 🙏 - I’m well on the road to recovery now 🤞 - and am beyond fortunate not to have sustained much worse injuries. Still looking to ride La Marmotte in Sept - so hopefully will see your Specialised also 👍
Bikes can be replaced. But to see you hobbling around like that was painful to watch. One minute you're fine and the next minute you are cut down. I could truly relate to the pain you felt because that's how I used to walk around all the time. But when you showed the helmet and how badly it cracked and protected you and saved your life...I literally broke into tears because I was so grateful that we, your friends and cycling community, did not lose someone as special as you.
Linda Messinger Linda - thats beyond kind of you. And having had a couple of weeks limping around with considerable pain for 10 days, I can only respect what you had to go through and overcome so much more ✊. For sure it’s refinforced to me the need to invest first and foremost in the helmet, plus the insurance. But also I’ll be much more discerning about where I ride outdoors to train (closed circuits and quiet hills) . Hope you are keeping well - still waiting for you to release your next video 👌😊
Shame about the bike (very Beautiful one 👍👍) but most important is that you didn’t get injured badly, cycling is a beautiful sport but could be very dangerous ( I know that very well) . This thing makes us cyclists stronger. All the best Phill 👍👍💪💪🚲🚲
Radek Mróz much appreciated Radoslaw 🙏 - and as you know from experience - bikes can be relaced, but injuries or worse are much harder 💯. Am definately going to use the experience to train more indoors and take even more care outdoors. Looking forward to our next race 💯✊
Sorry to hear that hope you get well soon.
Harry Tzianskis The God of Speed Thanks so much Harry.... 🙏🙏 I’m not exactly the epitome of speed or indeed cycling proficiency of late.....🙃 Hope all good for you 👍💪
Bike Racing Without Mercy you are more impressive then you are trying to be
Harry Tzianskis The God of Speed thats super kind of you Harry 🙏
Nice Bike Phil 🚴♂️👍
david millar thanks David 🙏🙏 - I hope to do a propper review once it’s back and I’ve actually ridden it more than 8kms 🙃
Glad your ok, it still gets me people still ride without a helmet
Thanks Jason - that’s very kind of you 🙏. I was out in the car in London yesterday - and could not believe the number of people cycling with no helmet . 😧
Bike Racing Without Mercy I know you never know what’s round the corner I’m lucky to live in a area with low traffics but you still have potholes, boy racers and many hazards which could bring you of your bike. Hope you get the bike back up and running it looks amazing. And your right the dog is the star of the vlog
Such a nice bike, once it's fixed it will be an absolute race machine! The main thing is you came away relatively unscathed, all things considered!
Giorgio Coppola Cycling cheers Giorgio - it’s a thoroughbred 👌. And for sure - the injuries could have been way way worse - and am super thankful to the HEXR 💯. Am indeed hoping to ride it fast up some geology 🤞
Painful to watch but nothing beats new bike day!!.. Glad your ok
Daniel Saba cheers Daniel 🙏. Yes - not the best way to present new bike day...... 🙃. But really appreciate your very kind words 🙏. Onwards ✊
Sorry to hear about your crash . Get well soon to give it horns Champ
Zaahier Stanley much appreciated. Am nicely on the mend now 🤞. Training is back on 👌
Glad to see the bike is back on the road Phill from what I saw you posted on strava the other day. Were you able to claim for the accident from bike insurance? Especially for the lightweight wheels. More and more I’m thinking of getting insurance, especially when I commute 56 miles a day. (Don’t usually use my good bike for those trips) Riding through London I actually prefer compared to where I live in Kent. Car drivers around there lack experience when dealing with other road users, so many times almost clipped by a wing mirror as they try to overtake 🙄
Thanks Francis - and for sure the crash was the back end of May 2020, so all good now. Because I was racing outdoor crits through November 2019-March 2020, and wanted to ride a number of events in Europe in 2020, I had taken out the top Yellow Jersey insurance policy covering for both bikes. And they were really helpful - and got the bike scanned for any stress fractures, which in turn lead to the handlebar and fork needing to be replaced plus both the wheels. So I have of course renewed with them for this year. I’d definitely recommend the insurance from a personal and equipment perspective. Either way stay safe 👍
That was a beauty of a bike, but first and foremost is that you are OK after that head-on crash.
Henning A. Rukin Much appreciated Henning 🙏 - I was extremely lucky to not sustain much worse injuries (the HEXR helmet was sensational). I believe it’s an amazing bike - and will do a proper review once I’ve got it back and put it through a few punchy climbs 👌🤞
Massive shame phill, the bike had pretty similar damage to mine when I crashed last year, same bent shifter and derailleur, rest up mate and feel better 👍
Paul Elliott-Kowalczyk - thanks for sharing your own misadventure Paul 🙏 I’m super lucky to have not sustained worse injuries, and hoping the bike will be fixed up soon. Hope your injury was not too severe 🤞. I’m healing up well - and just enjoying the indoor training for the time being 👌.
Only just seen this video and a bit upsetting really but glad your ok as could have been a lot worse 👍 gorgeous bike by the way.
Thanks for looking at this Paul - and it sure was very upsetting at the time, I was very lucky the helmet saved me from more serious injury . Took me a long while to fully recover and then get my confidence back, but all good now and a lot more cautious on the road 👍
Phill: *’stop descents’*
Julian Alaphilippe has left the chat
Cycle Nutter Cheers Giacomo - I’m never going to be one of the great descenders 😁.
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy KOMcoach will sort that training out for you. EdUP KOMdown!
Sad video, glad you were ok 👌🏻 Feel bad for the new bike, shirt and helmet but rather them than you
Mick Boekhoff Very true Mick - am very lucky that the kit took all of the impact - and am very grateful for the helmet 💯. Really appreciate your kind words 🙏. I’ll be hoping to do justice to the bike once it’s fixed 🤞
The bike build must be approx £13000... & not to be under 7kg is criminal! Hopefully you will get it back soon and enjoy riding it, perhaps with Stabilisers?
Prawle 😂 stabilisers are an option - will add to the kg of course .... As I mentioned, I went for the disc / tubeless / slightly heavier lightweight wheels - due to comfort, stiffness and ironically safety - as well as light. It’s going to be used on longer climbs / events (travel allowing). The weight also included the pedals and the cages etc. Stiffness translates to better power transfer and fewer wasted watts I understand. I’ve placed my trust in the experts who helped advise on it 😊
Phill, I like your vid’s! Buth this one scared the shit out of me. Glad you are okey! And hopefully a lot of save miles/km ahead!
Niels Koumans thats very good of you to say that Niels 🙏. And I too have been rattled by it - and will be much more cautious in terms of where I go to train outdoors (closed circuits or quiet hills). Really appreciate your good wishes - and 🤞 for plenty of low risk KMs outdoors, in addition to the majority indoors 🙃
I hope you recover soon!
Much appreciated Ricardo 🙏 - well on the mend now 🤞
i always have insurance on my bikes, and like you Phil, i always ride early at 5am to avoid cars, how unlucky can you be!
Lucy Reeves thanks Lucy - me too! Yellow Jersey 👍. This has definately reinforced the benefits of investing first in the insurance and the helmet, and then the bike etc. You are of course too kind... 🙏...I’m one of those people who seems to attract a little clumsiness - so not withstanding it was 6am ... I managed to connect with the only car in central London 🙃
Glad you’re on the mend and as other have said, a bit difficult to watch and unfortunately a part of the sport we love :( Bike looks soooooo amazing! Can’t wait to see you ripping it up those hill climbs!!
Mike Redman thats really kind of you Mike 🙏 - and for sure I’m very capable of grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory and making some cringe worthy content with a “C” 🙃. I’m really looking forward to getting it back, and providing a propper review after a couple of climbs 🤞
Ooof! That's rough.
MrBJPitt 😂 oooooff! thump thump - indeed 😁 Not a great way to mark the arrival of a new bike, but super lucky to have limped away! 👍
Feel for you buddy. At least you're OK. Insurance is there to cover the bike.
bassy83 so so true Bassy 💯 - and really appreciate your kind words 🙏. As you say, the bike is very much secondary, and I was beyond lucky to limp away courtesy of the helmet 👌. I’m insured so hopefully once it’s x-rayed it will be sorted out 🤞
Could you elaborate on how you dealt with the car damage? If there was any.
My understanding is BC had a level of insurance if needed
Ay Pee Vee no worries - I’m insured via Yellow Jersey, and the car was badly damaged. So they are now dealing with the claim in conjunction with the police enquiry. I’m not sure if the BC insurance would cover this. I’ve definitely learned the value of investing in the helmet first and foremost and also the bike insurance (which is expensive if you also race them ) 👍
A painful few weeks for you Phil, all the best... Kinda found that 'descent' funny though, my bad 🙈
Theo Vardakis yes - stringing together the illness and injury Theo - really appreciate your best 🙏. Glad you liked the coridor segment - not sure where it came from....just let the phone roll 🙃
😩 Absolutely gutted for you Phil. What a shame on your first outing. And what a beautiful bike. Lightweight wheels are a mere dream to own then to see them like that 😔 So glad you are ok that is the number one priority and the helmet sure did it’s job. Got to say though your corridor walk did manage to make me laugh. Have you got the bike back now and all sorted?
Lee Wood thanks Lee - really appreciate your kind words. And am pleased you liked the corridor walk - just started to film and it turned into something unexpected 🙃. The helmet is the best cucling investment I’ve made to date - not withstanding I love the atom and the beautiful Wilier ........ I know - sacralidge to have written off the LightWeights........ and not good for the environment.... The frame is being x-rayed for stress fractures - but it looked ok to me 🤞
Bike Racing Without Mercy fingers crossed for you Phil and look forward to seeing the dog again when you go to collect 🐶👍🏼
Man it sucks when that happens it happened to me a rider came out of corner I was going fast hit him head on made a backflip shifters gone saddle gone rear dereliur stuffed bike survived cannondale Cad 12 nothing broken ,fulcrum zeros front buckled .Me had hairline rib fracture was out of cycling for two months .
Wow! thats a very nasty accident through no fault of your own 🤯 I hope you are fully recovered, and the bike was insured for the repairs 🤞. Yes - it was a really big setback in confidence - and took a while to recover from ... Onwards & Upwards 👍
Comedy gold down the corridor 🤣🤣🤣 Only option is to laugh when shit goes sideways as you say.
JCL cheers JCL 😁 So glad you liked the “segment” - not sure where that came from - but I just kept the phone camera rolling 👌
Also having hiked the Grand Canyon, the descent is by far harder on the body than the ascent!
JakeKaminskisRacing 😂😂 agreed - I always used to hate the tab down when training in the reserves. Way harder 😫
such a shame about the bike Phill 😲😢- looked amazing & hopefully you can salvage some of the parts......not sure how you make such a disaster seem quite light hearted/amusing at times so big kudos for that 👍, I still can't believe you are back racing so soon after the crash but hopefully the forced 'rest' will actually see some improvements as long as you stay motivated #Polarized 👀
keith robertson much appreciated Keith 🙏 - and I was very fortunate to be able to limp away from it 💯. Not sure where the corridoor vid came from - I was feeling very low, but it sort of emerged 😁. I’ve found that whilst limping - on the bike indoors it’s been ok to pedal - especially seated. But have been taking a full rest day after each indoor ride - and I do think it’s helping the recovery. Nice work again on your 10min power PB #polarised ✊
@@BikeRacingWithoutMercy Car pulled out on me front hit crank arm (fortunately not my foot/ankle) which took me off flying down the road few yrs ago & couldn't walk properly for over a week (quads took the impact & massively swollen - wife of the guy thought my kneecap had been knocked to one side 🤣🤣🤣....no thats my quad muscle, its quite normal.....I'm a cyclist with big legs!!) & like you walking down stairs was the hardest thing. Thanks again for your kind words re my 10min power pb - I thought I'd give you something to aim for 🚀⭐........YOU WILL GET THERE, you're stronger than you think........keep believing ✌
keith robertson wow! Thats a horrendous crash - and you were lucky also 🙏. My quads also took a lot of the impact - and swole up a huge amount. Only just lost the fluid in the left. I was going down the stairs in the flat on my bum for 2 days 😁. Definately going to aim hard at your power - and also one day when the endurance is better, try the 4x Alp at 4.0W/kg. To me thats a very good training for La Marmotte ✊
So sorry to come across this video! Feel for you! Hope you’re ok now!
Thanks so much! That's super kind of you. Took about a month to get back up to speed...but about 5 months for the bike to get fixed due to shortage of integrated handlebar fork system from Wilier! I'll review it properly over the next week or so
4:42 light at the end of the tunnel 😅 Hope you’re doing well now Phill 👍
Cycle Nutter on the road to recovery 🤞 - cycing indoors is fine, walking has been a bit of a trial but is getting better
