I married a woman nowhere near as tall as you, 5'10", but quite long legged and a bit intimidating to the many of the majority of her acquaintances that are shorter. But she was that height when she was 12 which bruised her confidence quite a bit. She figured out how to rock the body she was given eventually and, like yourself, oozes confidence, which is part of what unintentionally intimidates others. She doesn't mind that I am not as tall and I have zero problem being shorter than her both flat footed and much shorter in heels.
You're a great role model for those who are made to feel different, but are really only different logistically. Your heart is the biggest and most beautiful part of you!

I'm 5' 6" but my oldest daughter, a professional model, was just under 5" 11" when she passed away. She was very slim like Ekaterina & also loved wearing really high heels, which made her well over 6' tall. I remember the looks we'd get when out in public - so funny watching people's shocked surprise at how tall & stunningly beautiful she was.

Most tall women are very insecure about their height.
People think that they are super confident, because they are tall.
Some people verbally abuse them because they feel threatened by them.
Don't forget, they are just as vulnerable as other women, they are not emotionless giants.

She's incredible! What a beautiful person she is inside and out; her height is extremely rare. But what concerns me is how she's going to find a suitable mate. The odds of her finding someone she likes that's taller than her is going to be pretty tough. There is that nice guy that played in Game of Thrones and another one I remember. He's about 7 feet so that would be perfect for her. And even he's only barely 3 inches taller! What I don't understand is why is she banned on some of those platforms? Americans are small/short anyways. If you come to Europe, more specifically The Netherlands, since we are, on average, the tallest people in the entire world, you would not feel ‘’out of place’’ or notice much difference at all; it’s normal and common for men and women to be anywhere between 170cm and 210cm. Some traits are a lot easier than others to embrace. It depends on how much negative behavior the trait attracts and how easy it is to control that behavior in others.

I went to college with a girl who was a little taller than you. Alana Renaud was intimidating to all of the male basketball players as none of them were as tall as her. I remember she had a custom seat installed in her small red car for her to be able to drive in comfort. I read that at one point, Alana ranked #13 in the world for tallest living women. If I had hung around with her any longer than I did, I would have asked her out.

My dad was 6ft 3 or 4. Even at that height, he would get comments about being tall. Unfortunately its not great in later life, as he had spinal problems.
I love your confidence! I’m relatively tall for a woman but much shorter than you-5’9”. Growing up, my height made me feel awkward and I was always hunching over to look smaller. Now I’m married to a tall man (6’3”) and I have tall kids (my tallest son is 6’4”). I love being tall and I wish I had held my head high like you when I was younger. People of all shapes and sizes are beautiful!

Honestly never thought of 5'9" being tall for a woman. Tall-ish? I'm 6'0" and have never once been called tall, but I have had a few women point out that I'm "not that tall". Nice women too, these are women who were nice to me, not just throwing that one line at me lol.
@@mikeg3439 the average height for a woman in america is 5'4" & worldwide is 5'3" so a woman of avg. male height is still tall "for a woman" atleast, though I would never consider myself tall in general. (~5'10")

This is obviously L.A. where people are used to seeing things that are FAR more out of the ordinary every day. 90% of those shoppers never gave a second look... Even a first look.

I'm 5'4" and I've dated plenty of women who were taller than me. One gal was 6'0 without heels. It truly depends on the girl. Some really don't see height as a deal breaker. I know, it's rare but those women are out there.

I know that there are physical features that draw attention such as height, beauty etc. but someone's character is far more important. I have always been drawn to people based on who they are as a person. These thoughts come to mind because when you asked a woman to rate your height I thought about how I would feel if you were to ask me. I would be indifferent. Yes, you happen to be attractive and tall, and tall can be a plus but who you are as a person matters so much more. You are a good person with a sense of humor, that is what I see first.
