Wow he's playing Jak 2 beta at the end. The Haven city theme is different from the original copy. I never played Ratchet and Clank, but I'm a Jak and Dexter fan, so I'll give it a try, because in Jak 2 there is a part of the city where there is a huge poster of Ratchet and Clank. So I believe there is a similarly.

The 3 best Ps2 games, and they all have HD collections. Ratchet is the best though.

on one of the ratchet and clank games I was able to press a certain button and it all of a sudden took me to sly cooper

I remember when video games used to have this level of meta. Like in RaC 2 (Ratchet and Clank 2), in a certain map you can find a clock tower that actually reads your playstation’s time data and displays the exact time you have set on your playstation, right down to the very second. It even works in the remastered trilogy!
I know it’s not much to awe about, but when i first found this, it made me so happy to see the developers put the time to do something like that, minor as it may be. It will always be cool to me.

Jak and Sly are so amazing
I always wondered who played these gameplay samples and if they were playing badly on purpose because they needed short segments. I watched developer commentary and they admitted they aren't the best players at the games they make. It just occurred to me that they also bought copies of their rivals' games in order to do these samples. I wonder how many ideas were put into ratchet because they were seen in their competitors' games.

Kiran Jha That's not an 'idea' that's just how manga's are since Japanese is written from right to left. Even the english translated versions have the order of the speech bubbles arranged to be from right to left

Kiran Jha Jeez dude just cuz the language you grew up learning (English I'm assuming) is written in a certain way doesn't make it a universal rule or standard for all languages to follow. There are other languages out there that are also written & read from right to left like Arabic and Hebrew (the original language of the Bible). All forms of Chinese are written from top to bottom. So it's not really a big issue how a language is written as long as you can communicate whatever it is you want to another person & they can easily understand you then its done it's job.
Hell you could've grown learning a language that's written in spirals & not know any better about other languages, no-one could tell you it's wrong or weird or inferior to theirs.

The music for Jak II gameplay is not in the actual game, probably a track from a Beta version of the game.
@ShadowPirateX Sly Raccoon is an European version of Sly Cooper.
They're in remastered HD with a better resolution than the originals and 3D support. Also, the IP is owned by Sony, so there is no way in hell these games would have available on anything other than a Sony platform. Unless Sony ditches the IP and sells it, which I highly doubt they will.
Whenever I try and play Ratchet and Clank games perfectly without taking damage for as long as possible, and I get bummed out when I finally take an unlucky hit, I remember that even Ratchet playing himself with Clank reading the manual for him takes damage and dies while playing.

As a kid, I was a bit surprised that Ratchet was playing the games I just rented from Blockbuster... I didn’t really know that at first because I was a bit bugged that the PS3 collection didn’t play the Sly Cooper demo like it did on PS2... I didn’t have the Sly and Jak trilogies...
What I want to know is how this works on Vita, seeing as how save banks are connected to the application itself.

How can Ratchet play Ratchet and Clank 2 in Ratchet and Clank 2? Couldn't they have showed Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, even though it did a bad sale? The old Spyro games were made by Insomniac, like this game is, but they do not want to show PlayStation 1 games, because that would seem odd to show here or outdated by that time. I know Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly is not made by Insomniac, but by Check Six and Equinox. Sony is still the ownership of all these series.

not. the xbox. one. no. literally any other console but the xbox one. besides, they already remade the first 3 games for ps3. i'm not a fanboy, but the ps4 has already won the next gen war.

lol i love how ratchet does the same routine, plays calmly, makes a face, leans forward in his chair then looks at clank and plays a different game. still love the easter egg tho me and my sis were playing it when we were young and we went to get something and when we came back he was playig Jak and Daxter so we left it for a while to check out if he played another game and sure shit Sly Cooper popped up both of wich we had played before or at the same time as we played Ratchet and Clank

Well I personally like the Ratchet and Clank series, in fact they're my most favorite game series of all time. But if you think ratchet and clank sucks, I don't really care cause ther'es nothing I can do about it. I do however hate that terrible playstation move: Heroes game because the storyline sucked, the weapons sucked, and there was none of that classical crude humor like in the original games

I think he means that ratchet and clank is a Sony PlayStation exclusive so it would be very awkward to see a ratchet and clank game on the Xbox.
