- TF2 x1000 is STRANGE and INSANE! (TF2 Gameplay and Funny Moments)! So after making a TF2 (Team Fortress 2) video on x100 community servers, I decided to go ahead and give x1000 community servers a shot! We tried a whole bunch of weapons and classes, including pyro's flamethrower, the winger, sniper, and more! If you're interested in learning more about TF2 (Team Fortress 2), a brief description and link to the game on Steam will follow!

Also if you managed to fully spin up the brass beast you would do a maximum of 10,800 damage and a minimum of 5702 damage so basically insta kill everything.
ALMOST everything, a soldier with 2100000 health can insta kill you with a direct hit rocket
The unfortunate reality is that the Tomislav still does more damage more quickly, and that the Brass Beast’s resistance doesn’t get multiplied to give you immortality.
How long to spin up?
go on a x10 server,rev the brass beast, and multiply it with 100 when you check the time

Interstellis the gunboats heals you when you do damage to yourself with your equipped rocket laucher idk why it didnt work with stock for you though either way beggars bazooka and gunboats heals you to 210000 health

Stock rocket on x1000 already heals you on rocket jumps, so with the gunboats it's a double negative so you take a bunch of damage instead
the damage resistance goes so high that it starts healing you

acording to the wiki the wrap up time of the brast beast is 1.31 seconds. that times 1k is 1310 seconds or 21,83 minutes. thats alot lmao

okay! the brass breast typically takes 2 seconds to rev, x1000 would be 2000 seconds. so to fully rev up the brass beast in x1000 youd have to keep mouse 2 held and not die for 33.3 minutes.
And then with the damage you would just demolish everything after patiently waiting

From what ive been messing around with, i think the rev up time would be anywhere from 7-10 minutes. Don't forget the debuff works in precentages o/ :)

I used to have a modified pyro panic button bind for x50 where it would spin and do the rapid airblast. Basically a shield.

Brass beast regular stats:
+) 120% base damage
+) 80% total damage taken when below 50% max health and spun up
-) 50% slower spin up time

x1000 stats
+) 20,100% base damage
+) .4% total damage taken when below 50% max health and spun up (could also just be 0 if the mod creators decided to make it that)
-) 50,000% slower spin up time
-) 40,000% total speed when spun up
now for the actual math
• 1809 damage on hit
• 75,000 effective health
• 435 second spin up time (this comes out to 7.25 minutes)
• you move so slowly that my calculator couldn't handle it
Shouldn't 40,000% total speed actually be 400 times normal? I.e. faster. For that matter, .4% damage taken is an odd value. That's not 1000 times anything of the base stats.
I'd put it at .08% damage taken and .04% speed (from 1/1.25(=80%) and 1/2.5(=40%) to 1/1250 and 1/2500, respectively) instead.

see, "40% total wind up" just means multiply something by 0.6, or divide by 60/100
when you multiply by 100, that's just adding a bunch of zeros before the 6, or adding a bunch of zeros on the denominator
so it becomes (base speed) multiplied by .006
I believe you are right for the damage value, and even I'm not sure how I got to .4%, so I'll edit that after leaving this comment.
@@Llortnerof ah, I figured out why it's .4% and not .8%
so resistances in x100 work hyperbolically, because otherwise, it would be stupid, so in this case, the formula goes from 100/(100+25) to 100/(100+2500) which equals 0.038, or 3.8% total damage taken. I rounded this up to .4%, because TF2 likes to round things

6:12 fun tip for those in x100 x1000. If you keep crouched with that weapon, then let it overload past the limit of rockets it can hold, every rocket you load next blows on top of you. Which means you will be both infinitely flying over the map and not die even if you hit the bottom of that insta-kill hole.

The Brass Beast has a 50% longer rev-up time compared to the stock's 0.87 seconds (per the wiki). In x1000 this is a 50,000% longer spin-up time, so 0.87s x 50,100% means you have to wait roughly 7 minutes, 16 seconds to start firing

imagine using the airstrike on a 1000X server and you rocket jump and when you shoot its a minigun
but unless you always bullseye all rockets (and even then, good luck, a peashooter deals more damage than this launcher), you'll miss all

Meta Loadouts for x1000:
*SCOUT*
Force-a-Nature - Insane damage at close range and the ability to knock anyone across the map
Winger - Insane damage for ranges where the Force-a-Nature isn't very good, and the super jump is good for maps like Highertower or the super tall variant of Orange so you can escape when you need to
Atomizer - Grants nearly infinite mid-air jumps for more horizontal movement than what the Winger allows
*SOLDIER*
Direct Hit - Insane projectile speed and damage that can destroy anything
Battalion's Backup - Enormous health boost, and the damage from the Direct Hit instantly fills Rage. Rage also lasts hella long (like, several minutes)
Escape Plan OR Disciplinary Action - Escape Plan lets you move at max speed regardless of HP, and Disciplinary Action has cross-map range and also pulls people toward you (though not very far unless there is a large height difference)
*PYRO*
Stock Flamethrower - Airblast costs nothing and can be used to deal immense fall damage upon anyone if you aim down while pushing them
Scorch Shot OR Panic Attack - Scorch Shot is disgusting because its explosion hits anything within line of sight of the landing point, and Panic Attack fires ridiculously fast
Powerjack - gotta go fast (works even when not active)
*DEMO*
Booties/Bootlegger - big health boost + gotta go fast
Splendid Screen - Just hold M2 and you will keep going since charge refills instantly, and also shield bash does crazy damage
Any melee weapon that isn't the Eyelander/Skullcutter, since it reduces your health/speed and you get enough damage through shield bashes
*HEAVY*
Tomislav - Instant rev time and the slower firing speed isnt too bad if you spam click instead of holding down M1 (also super accurate and also does a lot of damage for some reason?)
Dalokohs Bar - Eat before leaving spawn, it gives you a massive health boost that will basically never run out
GRU - gotta go fast (works even when not active)
*ENGINEER*
Stock Shotgun - Fires way faster than normal and is super accurate
Wrangler - Your sentry is basically invincible
Gunslinger - big health boost + sentry hp doesnt matter with wrangler (also minis naturally have big health pools)
*MEDIC*
Crusader's Crossbow OR Overdose - Crossbow reloads so fast it basically doesn't need to reload, and the Overdose makes you go fast
Quick-Fix - Uber builds instantly, meaning you always have access to super speed with the Overdose
Any Melee that isn't the Ubersaw - seriously it swings super slow
*SNIPER*
Stock Sniper Rifle - It fires super fast for rapid headshots
Darwin's Danger Shield - lots of health, and bullets literally heal you
Necro Smasher - For some reason it does hella damage and swings super fast, idk why
*SPY*
Stock Revolver - Fires super fast
Stock Sapper - Obviously
Deadringer - Recharges instantly and negates nearly all damage
Stock OR Conniver's Kunai - Stock swings super fast so it's easy to backstab people who are chasing you, Kunai leaves you at 1hp starting out but once you backstab someone you are unstoppable
Gunboats are significantly better than the backup, and the vaccinator is better than the quickfix in literally every situation. Other than that I can mostly agree to everything on here

I'd go with stock shotgun on pyro instead of panic attack as the panic is like super hard to hit
Considering the normal spinup ti.e of the brass beast is about 2 seconds that's 2x1000 so 2000 seconds or about 33.33 minutes to spin up the brass beast in x1000
you're wrong. The stock minigun takes 0.87 seconds to spin up. The brass beast increase this by 50%. This 50% increase is what's times 1000 therefor it takes 435.87 seconds (7.2645 minutes) to fully spin up.

0:40 taking the description litterally, i would calculate the spin up time like this.
The brass beast has a 50 percent slower spin up time. This means that the game adds 50% more spin up time to the gun, which is multiplied by the x1000 to 50,000% which translates to a factor of 501(to those of you who are as confused as my friend was with a similar problem and wonder where I got 501, Some explanation:)
Starting with the obvious percentage points and and whole number factors have more differences between them than just the presence of a symbol. We all hopefully know that 100% of something is equal to multiplying some thing by only a factor of one.
That how ever is just describing something as a percentage of another and not adding a percentage. In adding a percentage, your not only taking the percentage, but adding it to the number in which the percentage was taken from. When you in this vase add fifty percent, multiplying by 50% wont add anything but take away half of yhe number thus providi ng a faster and not slower spin up time.
Thankfully this is equvalent to just adding 100% to the number before multiplying.
Back to the problem with the new 50,000% you are adding, you now add 100 to make it 50,100% that tou multiply by. Convert it to a factor by dividing by 100 or by just moving the decimal two to the left (removing the final 2 zeros. And you have 501.
Multiply that factor by the .87 second spin up time as provided to me by the TF2 wiki and you have a number of 435.87 seconds or around 7.2645 minutes.
This in a more percievable combination of minutes and seconds is 7 minutes and 15.8745 seconds.

The reason you found that health pack down there is bc the creator made the map so you can go out of bounds and the creator knew the weapons would throw you outside the map so you wouldn't die automatically when being outside the map
One underrated weapon is the lock and load. The projectile speed boost and the damage boost basically put it on the level of the direct hit.

It's fun to watch what happens by increasing the features of Team Fortress 2 weapons thousands of times.
0:39 I did the math just for that question. Frist of all, the normal revup time of a stock minigun is 0.85s, so multiply by 150% to get the Brass beasts Rev time of 1.305s. Now multiply that by 1000 and you get 1305s or in other words, you need to hold the right/left click, without stopping, for 21 min and 45 seconds straight. But looking on the buffs, you basicaly get yourself something thats close to an Armor Lock from Halo Reach and If you somehow get that rev up done, you can destroy everything you see.

according to tf2 wiki a "regular" machine gun's windup time is 1.16 seconds and brass beast subtracts (counts as adding more time) 50% of that resulting in 2.32 seconds, but since its 1000x everything, brass beast's -50% would turn into -50000%, so then you would multiply by 2000 (which is 50000% in division) resulting in 2320 seconds wasted attempting to wind up the brass beast in 1000x everything, which is, when converted to minutes, around 38-39 minutes to wind up the brass beast.
