  • Well Peeps! Both Henry and Olive are back home living their best lives with a new, healthier foundation based in BALANCE of both the soft and firm love our pets so desperately need.
The majority of dog owners have become so insanely concerned with the frailty of their dogs that they’ve unintentionally created the very thing they’re trying to avoid-weak, fragile, delicate souls, incapable of tolerating the world around them, no matter how minimal or silly a trigger may seem.
Whether genetically compromised, or induced through environmental factors, most dogs live in a constant state of hyper-alertness to their surroundings-where even the most ridiculous trigger provokes an immediate reaction without any consideration for its outcome. This is precisely where Henry and Olive’s mindset constantly lived.
Edgey, tense, concerned, worried, wound up, and freaked out, the fearful dog does exactly what he feels will relieve him of his anxiety-pacing, snapping, barking, whining, marking indoors.
What if doing what’s not so pleasant (to us) was healthier for a dog that is “stuck” in an endless cylce of fear and anxiety? Would you feel worse about giving tough love, or worse your dog continually suffers from chronic stress?
Here’s the thing... When we ALLOW our dogs to remain in an endless cycle of stress and anxiety, we CHAMPION the issues that are the result of this unhealthy mindset.
Both Olive and Henry came to us inordinately flakey and stressed about the unfamiliar. Over the course of 3 weeks we were able to reset both pups for a new mindset-all made possible through tough love-you know, the stuff we humans hate sharing with our furbabies.
With a comprehensive system implementing PERMISSION ONLY BEHAVIOR, we were able to cultivate resiliency, and better coping abilities when the unpredictable occurs! Both pups rely heavily in strong, strict, unwavering leadership that is as equally benevolent as it is firm. Continued exposure will be the key to their success. And we think their owners have this whole thang down-pat!
