Ms. Christine, Everyone in the UK and the Commonwealth agree with your assertion : Prince Philip would have shut down his wayward, disrespectful grandson PH and his ill-chosen wife a long time ago. The late Queen would have supported Prince Philip 100%, because it would have been more difficult for her to do this herself as to 'protocals'. Look at what just happened in Nigeria -- the First Lady of Nigeria made it clear Meghan is not a good role model for Nigerian women and girls ! 🇨🇦
Prince Philip was absolutely the best. He devoted his life to the Monarchy and his wife and family and a country he dearly loved. He is always remembered and very much missed.
PRINCE PHILIP WAS A GREAT ASSET TO THE ROYAL FAMILY, WAS A GREAT SUPPORT FOR THE QUEEN, LOVED HIS FAMILY MADE THE ODD GAFFE BUT DIDN'T SUFFER FOOL'S. STRAIGHT TALKER PRINCESS ANNE REMINDS ME OF HIM,SEE A LOT OF HIS TRAITS IN HER .SHE IS ALSO A GREAT SUPPORT FOR THE KING LOVELY LADY
let princess Ann sort rachel the actor and harry the ex royal out one blow from her and there’s no coming back the king is not well enough plus it’s is son at the end of the day it’s got to be hard ❤
Absolutely...the Harkles would have been dealt with by now...but why didn't HMTQ but a stop to the megnancy and mythcarriage lies? Everything the family does is scrutinized. She 100% knew.
The Meghan and Harry lies drew me to learning more about the royal family. You all have a bright future with Prince William and Princess Catherine. I’m American.
I loved the time PP dressed up like a guardsman and when our late QE2ND realised, she really laughed. Brilliant, he had a great sense of humour. Miss them both.
Prince Philip was an amazing man and made so many contributions. He was an asset to UK and the world and particularly the beautiful Queen Elizabeth II. Thanks for another great story.
If you are refeering to his so called gaffs like on the Australian tour , china etc then 1) It so happened that the tribal chief came away laughing it was the reporter who decided it was a 'racist comment, Another repoerter saw and heard what was going on but decided not to say anything until after Prince Philip died. it turned out that they had met on a previous tour and had been talking about th history of the tribes and The comment was made by PP as tongue in Cheek. " The china gaffe was probably based on something Prince Philip had learned during his RN days and tours to Hong king. Apparently when the Hong Kong Chinese were coming 'west' to open restaurants and takeaways they were told not to stay too long or they'd get round eyes, hence Prince Philip making the opposite comment
Prince Phillip was a good example how one created own destiny. He had difficult upbringing, had to leave his home country, etc. Yet instead of complaining, he adapted himself and became a solid pillar for his wife and her country. Harry can learn a lot from his late grandfather. Instead of constantly whining and feeling entitled just because he is a spare!
Prince Phillip may have said the wrong thing, but was never nasty, never disloyal. He was good-old fashion fun. How people used know how to behave and how to treat others.
If only Harry had taken his sage advice…..one steps out with an actress…one should never marry them. How different would things be if Cressida didn’t bolt.
I look in the mirror and what do I see, A little old woman is looking at me, The face looks familiar, but how can that be, When I suddenly realise, good heavens it’s me !

Our beloved late Prince Philip will never be a former royal to me. Yes he said and done some corkers, but he loved and stood by our beloved late Queen, did a lot of kind things behind the scenes that us British never knew about until he sadly passed, he was an absolute asset to our beloved Royal family. ❤
My favourite Prince Philip story was when he and the late Queen were staying at Broadlands. He was chasing her up the stairs and pinching her bottom. She was laughing and screaming. They had been married fifteen years at the time.
she never really liked him as he wasn't her choice for consort. Thank goodness the then Princess Elizabeth stuck to her guns as most of the people QEQM thought suitable were the type that that would be 'yes; men to QEQM and most turned out to be drunks .
Good morning Neil. I loved Prince Philip for his gaffes. Prince Philip doesn’t get enough credit, he was a man ahead of his time. He went into a marriage in the 40s knowing that he would always take a back seat to his wife. That wasn’t an easy thing for a man back then.
I think Prince Philip was a real asset to the late gracious Queen and the Monarchy. He was truly ahead of his time and his “no nonsense” personality will always be remembered. Interesting how things were relayed back to the royals, one way or another. I’m sure the Thursday club had many secrets. 😀
Gotta love Prince Philip, never suffered fools. His face said everything, bless him. Queen Mother a force to be respected after what she'd encountered in her life! Great times!
Mr. Neil Sean, I truly enjoy the stories you share with us. You're a fantastic storyteller. You should write a novel, I have no doubt it would become a best seller. I personally miss Prince Philip. In my personal opinion, he was the rock of the family.
I so admired Prince Phillip…he was down to earth, sporting that mischievous twinkle in his eyes, given what he had to put up with the Queen Mum…no wonder Queen Elizabeth encouraged him to let off some steam!!!😊❤️🙏
I'm glad to hear that Prince Philip found opportunities to have some down-time. He always struck me as someone who knew how to have fun, so great to hear that he found a way.
He was my favourite Royal. I met him in 1980 when my brother was presented with his degree scroll at his University. PP was the Chancellor there and did the honours. He was extremely polite with a wicked sense of humour😊
Prince Phillip seemed to say what he thought. It was special to see how he and Queen Elizabeth II looked at each other and how they acted together. Genuine, pure love.
I wish I had paid more attention to everything across the pond sooner, just to see/hear more stories about Prince Philip. Sounds like he was a bit of a firecracker, but in a good way. He definitely supported his wife, including always walking behind her. Not a lot of men could do all the things required, especially for over 70 years. It’s really amazing when you witness 2 people who were truly soulmates.
Such a lovely story about the Thursday Club, Neil. Thank you. Prince Philip (and HLM Queen Elizabeth) are still truly and deeply missed 😢 His "gaffs" and wonderfully dry humour endeared him to people. It not only helped to relieve his stress, but it put others at ease as well. Everyone should have an outlet. **AND besides that, she (the Queen Mother) didn't believe PP to be good enough or a proper match for QEII. Was she proved wrong!
Really loved the late D.of E. He was so down to earth and grounding -and if that meant sometimes saying the ‘wrong thing’ so what? He was being real and helping to counter-balance all those humourless kill-joys who couldn’t take a bit of harmless banter.
I loved Prince Philip and his wicked sense of humour. I’m sure that released any tension The Queen might have had after a very busy day. He was her rock and was right by her side, always !!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a lovely story , Neil. Just goes to show mother in laws are all the same who every they are when it comes to protecting and looking out for their child .
Big wave Neil. Great story about the Thursday Club. Some times the wrong thing is the right thing and his gaffes and off the cuff remarks were priceless.

Alive and well Prince Piillip would never have allowed the traitors to continue!!
No, he would not.

Neil, you are not looking like a prune! By the way I love prunes, especially prune soufflés.
Prince Philip will always be remembered as royal, never as a former royal.
Absolutely correct 👏👏
Completely agree!
Absolutely ❤
He was Royal in his own right before he met HLMTQ. He was Prince Philip of Denmark And Greece
plus i really like your youtube pic! All the best to you!
I loved the time PP dressed up like a guardsman and when our late QE2ND realised, she really laughed. Brilliant, he had a great sense of humour. Miss them both.
That was a lovely picture. He dressed in uniform as the Colonel of that Guards' regiment, so the Queen's surprise was at something he said.
I only met Prince Philip once. He was absolutely charming and funny. May he and our beloved late Majesty rest in peace.
Neil when I think of Prince Phillip its always with a smile. A man with a wonderful sense of humour, who could drop a clanger and walk away smiling.
Prince Philip was an amazing man and made so many contributions. He was an asset to UK and the world and particularly the beautiful Queen Elizabeth II. Thanks for another great story.
Well said, Ann 👏👏
I think the need to make a statue of the Queen and Prince Philip together. They were are strong team together.
Gosh I wish he had been at least 10 years younger, so he could be around to deal with this s-show.
Prince Philip was a loyal no nonsense man, will always be missed and respected. Cant say the same for his grandson Harry.
Prince Phillip made mistakes. But he never dissed the family. ❤
He was Human & we loved him for it 💜💚
