I stretch my hair by two strand twisting them, then putting it in a low ponytail, covered with a satin cap. I will definitely try your methods especially the bobby pin one! God bless you !

Your hair are goals😍😍. I been nature for a year. August had just made a year for me. This video is really helpful for me. I also have 4c hair and my hair shrinks a lot. Do you have any tips for me on having less shrinkage and growing my hair long and healthy?
thank you so much, I would recommend to do stretch styles, like braidouts, buns, twists, flexi rod sets. stuff like that. and just make sure you are cleansing you scalp, moisturize your hair when needed, deep condition, and do low manipulation styles. our hair thrives when it is left alone.

Thank you...yes very informative. I really like the satin banding strips, will try them all though as my hair grows longer. This really is a journey, a lot of thought & work goes into this natural hair/scalp especially if you want it healthy & nourished. I'm trying & watching your channel is 👍🌹

what hair products do u use for ur twist outs
I use an array of products. I always just used shea moistures curl enhancing smoothie for the longest time, ever since I started my natural hair journey. I also like TGIN leave in, moisturizer and twist and define cream. I like Hydratherma naturals LEave in, growth lotion and their aloe curl cream. I have coupon codes for them if you want to check the description box. I also use Camille rose curl love, and almond jai butter. Or I can use water and my homemade shea butter mix. Or Oyin handmades hair dew, whipped pudding, boing + burnt sugar pomade. It just all depends on what I want to do. But I pretty much use moisturizing products. or I use products that are protein balanced. But I do the LCO method, which I will spray my hair with water, Add a leave in, then a cream, then a oil or shea butter mix or I will spray my hair with water, Add a leave in, then a cream, Then a styler, then I will add a oil or shea butter mix. My hair likes a lot of product, that's why I don't mind adding a lot of it. Or I can just Spray my hair with water and then use my shea butter mix or just water and an sealant like JBCO.
You are length goals...I don't think I do banding properly..the only way I can get my hair to my desired stretched length is by blowdrying it :/

yea works perfectly... make sure you use material that is stretchy and that workout pants material. I have been using leggings and since some are made from polyester, they can kind of stick to my hair and i see some hairs come out...

do u band every night??
it depends on how I feel, when I wear a twist out or braid out I will probably just put a bonnet on for the first 2 nights, then I will re twist or re braid for the 3rd night but after I do that, the next night I will band for 1 to 2 days. For a wash n go, I usually band the first 3 to 4 nights, then I will get super lazy and just put a bonnet on. Or it can be the opposite, I may wear my bonnet for a few days then band my hair. Or I will band my hair if I want to stretch my hair out more. Everything always depends on how I am feeling that day and what I want my hair to do for the next day.
