As a long-time fan of Boise State and a relatively old person I can confidently state that Chris Peterson is a "quality human being". To hear him talk about the Boise State system, the OKG, the players, the AD, the HC, etc, should give every Boise State fan reassurance that we are on the right path. This is bigger than football, and it is rare. Embrace it. Support it.
Coach Pete we love you and always will! There is never a time when you don't have a home in Boise. We always knew you would have to eventually do right by your family and go for greener pastures, but we cherish the time we have had.
He could have been coaching Alabama this season if he wanted, no chance he ever returns to coach at bsu.. maybe an advisor job or something but I doubt it with those monster property taxes he's paying for his Mansion on lake Washington he probably doesn't wanna leave home much
@208flatheads3 pete quit coaching because his career lacked deeper meaning. Winning didn't bring him the inner satisfaction that he craved. He wants to make a meaningful difference in the world and that just so happens to be what coach Danielson is all about. SD is about making a difference in the players lives and being a positive example to these young men. Couple that with Boise state emerging as perhaps the main opposition of the greedy trajectory that college football has been on for the past decade, maybe Peterson would find fulfillment in helping boise be the lone hope that college football doesn't cease to exist as we know it. If Boise wins a playoff game this year it will stand as an argument against college football splitting into superconfrences as has been proposed.
What are the chances that we could somehow have a hall of fame assistant coach lineup with Kotter, Hawkins, Pete…well we need some defense in there though…😂 😂 😂

Awesome that Pete comes back and is still excited about bsu.
I love Coach Pete. Man is a legend.
It's really good to see Coach Pete refer to Boise State football as "we." We know where his heart is.
He's such a stud coach and person
I love it
We love and miss you coach Pete!
I have always loved you coach Pete! Your one of the best!
I am happy with our new coach told but you will always be BSU

Any time pete talks its a great day
So fun to hear him give a lot of opinions now that he’s not the coach.

Coach Pete is a Bronco… for life 🏈
We are amongst a LEGEND!🙌🏽
Who doesn't love Pete saying "WE".
We miss you Pete
Not only a great and exceptional coach but also a great and exceptional man.
Thanks for getting this! Hearing his opinion is so much fun and we don't get enough of it!
Coach Pete, nothing but nothing but class!
Coach Pete will always be a beloved part of the Bronco family. It's wonderful to see him looking happy and healthy.
Awesome Coach !
Coach Pete for OC next year, if Dirk re-retires.
that would be awesome

@208flatheads3 Dirk Koetter was a long shot, too. Being an OC without any recruiting responsibility is a lot easier gig than being head coach.

The country needs coach Pete and coach Saban to lead college football through the NIL mess
Just saw Petersen is at Boise because he did a 1 on 1 interview with Jeanty. Will be on The Big Noon Kickoff on Fox tomorrow.
COACH PETE!!!! WELCOME BACK!!!

Coach P to replace DK next season???
You beat me to it. My thought exactly
