    I started using a Fender Mustang III after I got out of prison late last month and despite it being digital I actually fell in love with it. Like you, I don't like built in effects unless it is Reverb. I'm a pedal guy all the way through! I received that amp from a very old friend who moved out of Barbados and currently lives in New York. The issue with that amp though, it has a volume drop whenever the volume settings (gain, volume & master knobs) are too high. Which pissed me off because it's a 100 watt amp. I believe it needs some servicing, because I find it hard to believe that's how the amp actually operates normally. I finally got that job letter I've been waiting for all year (must be an early Xmas gift lolz), so when I do get that loan I will pay a local amp technician to check it out and a Laney LA65C that I fucked up in 2012.
    I get to play loud because my neighbours generally play loud music, so it's like everyone takes turns and it's all good. I'm considering getting this amp but not for personal use, but actually to sell. I plan on using the loan to open my first music store. I like loud amps so I may take your word too and get one for myself too! Taking my time however. Once business goes well I will expand my horizon. I do plan on getting a Sea Bee for myself as soon as I land that cash! Nothing crazy like Gibson Les Pauls or Isle Of Tone Haze 69s, I'd be broke! 🤣👀

      The Blackstar St James is a good option to look at too, albeit a bit more expensive. But it has the same output XLR / headphone out with the same software interface for mics / cabs. I use it very similar to Sasha, running pedals into the clean channel.
      Good luck to you!

    I appreciate your style of playing and choice of guitar with p90's... I bit the bullet and ordered the HT 100 MKiii Head... This HT 40 MKiii sounds excellent... I believe it's a chapman.
      Tho I have never seen a chapman Les Paul.
      I think the the burst is faded Iced tea

    He Sasha! As always, the Demo makes it sound like a dream. I was in the shop yesterday and got baffled by a St James EL34. How would you compare this with that? Im normally running a Blues JR and a Pro JR in W/D. Looking to change out the Pro JR in that setup, so I can use it elsewhere. But this looks pretty capable as well. Would love your view on the matter!

    Great video as always. I have the same amp and I want to change the speaker to celestion vintage 30 or Greenback. Which one do you prefer for this amp?

    • @SashaIvantic
      @SashaIvantic  16 дней назад

      Oh man speakers are so personal. For this I’d go with creambacks tho. The greenback is too loose in the bass for me and the V30 too bright. But again, it’s so personal and different amps like different speakers.
