thank you! Yes I love how it makes the embossing more visible. It is also fun technique to use on just glued paper and it makes the wrinkles stand out more. So much fun!!

Women need to stop working for the big craft companies that don’t pay money but pay you in product. And they expect you to have social media presence. it’s time women demanded to be paid with money for the work they do. being a maker without being paid it’s just a waste of your time

@MsLouisVee can you explain what you mean? I am not sure I fully understand where that comment comes from?

@@oldhaggys I don't like to see us women work for big craft companies doing certain amount of makes per month and having to post on social media without getting compensated in cash payment. the companies think that we're happy just getting recognition and freebies from them to use in our makes. I'm just saying it's time women got proper payment for the work we do.

@@mariankitagawa7525 umm? but we don't work for any craftcompany? I might missunderstand you here, and feel free to correct me if I do, but there are very few that HAVE to post anything. Some of us have our own business, so If I don't sell things I don't eat. I have my own company and it is just a little micro dot. And many of us don't even have that, we just love crafting and love sharing inspiration and ideas. There is no big craftcompany behind us. I have no idea where you got that idea? Some of the bigger ones have afiliations that help them earn some extra money. I don't, at least not yet. We post to share ideas and inspiration and also to show the world that we exist. RUclips doesn't even give us our own category so we are bunched up with knitters, big painters and other. So your can understand your comment made me super confused. But I agree, It would be nice if we actually got paid for our work. But many spend days on an item and sell them for $10 and then there's taxes and fees from that. And people aren't willing to pay for handmade items. I have been yelled at because they think I am charging too much for my work and yet I don't charge the actual cost of my time so crafters hardly ever get paid properly for our work unless we are a big name and then we can charge for our name. Same as any other brand. I like where your head is at and yes woman needs to be paid properly for their time and expenses no matter of where they live and what they do. ❤💜💛

I guess the gist of it is, I wish we were more compensated and recognized for what we do but I guess loving what we do has to be our compensation. anyway, I appreciate your video and I appreciate your work and taking time to answer me❤

Oh! RUclips didn't show your answer! So sorry you had to wait this long! And yes, we need to be more compensated for the work, time and unique products we make. And the only people who can change that is cratrs and artist. Instead of lowering the prices to the level of Wish, AliExpess, Temu, Shien and other crap like that we have to raise the value of our handmade items. If all do it then customers will set more value to them too. At least that is my thought. I could be wrong. And I still dont put the full value of the time I put on the items in my prices. And there are people higer priced then me. But pricing is tricky. Thank you for talking to me. Money and craft and art is tricky subjects.
