Totally! I recognize where this comes from. A station in Alternate Universe, which goes by the codename, X0048188 had this song playing on the radio a month or so ago. It was called ‘Salubrious’ by Arrow Swiszney.
This makes me imagine a dimension hopper from our universe in said parallel universe and finding a "Reverse Harmony" version of that realm's Toxic, only to discover its just regular Toxic
I'm down for anything Britney, but this is horrible. There has to be someone, somewhere that can make an acceptable version of this. It should work... just not this one.
@@cake0214 There is an original demo recording by Cathy Dennis. She and other producers wrote it together with Tina Turner in mind, though it was instead offered to Kylie Minogue who declined.
This song is more than a guilty pleasure, there are so many creative covers of it... The structure, the chords progression, and the arrangement (despite its excesses) make people find it interesting even if they hate the rest of Spears' output.
@@TheSeptuagint by Katy Perry? That one sounds more fun and adventurous, and it sounds more like a successful love story. This version of "Toxic" has more angst and "libido" which is usually what accompanies infatuation during puberty.
as a non musician passerby I mention another commenter's take on it; it's mostly in major keys (major keys = uplifting music sounds in those typical cheerful feel good songs).
this whole vibe is just unsettling and creepy and I’m not just talking about the robotic re-tuned vocals it’s like something you’d hear if your evil doppelganger trapped you in a mirror dimension, where everything is familiar but completely opposite of what you know it’s almost like they’re mocking you with such an uncannily and undeservedly upbeat song
This has been in my head literally all day. It feels actually a bit more sinister than the original. The dark lyrics combined with a mostly major key song makes them stand out. Like she knows it's wrong, but she almost doesnt care. Its super catchy too. I cant remember properly what the original sounds like 😂
it's so dreamy and romantic. sounds like nothing i have ever heard. sounds like it is from a completely different place in space and time. it's absolutely beautiful, far better than the original arrangement.
Probably a weird idea, but.. I would love to hear a negative harmony of something from Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. Thunderchild comes to mind, of course, but honestly any would be very interesting to hear. Such a strange soundtrack already, can only imagine what it could be like.
i need some music genius to explain with smart words to me why this is the most amazing sounding thing ive ever heard like the notes and pitch is so perfect
Glad that you’ve been dedicating your whole channel to my long standing opinion that music is just better in minor to my ears lol. Hearing them swapped is always so cool, I love your channel
I don''t know why but this just made me laugh. Why it induced that laughter I just don't knw. I'd love to see the creative process of how you create these. The result is jus incredibly good.
A random bombastic cartoon Giraffe is gyrating and strutting down a busy city street, shaking it's large booty and being fantastic. Distracted onlookers, work commuters bump in to each other, spilling their coffees and dropping their business suitcases and papers, their eyes widen and their Jaws drop more than what is usually physically possible for a normal human as they are transfixed by the fabulous Giraffe. It's not quite day but not quite night. The scene has a general feeling of chaotic surrealism, not far removed from a twisted dream or nightmare. The Giraffe continues dancing and strutting in to the distance as the scene fades to black. A Tremendous fever dream.

I got to be honest, I actually think I like this version. Like if somebody actually sang it like this instead of the auto tune kind of jacking up the lyrics I think it would be cool
Literally sounds like something you would hear on an alternate universe's radio
Like something you'd hear in a movie taking place 100yrs into the future, like a party/club scene with music.
@BootyWizard420I love your name lmfao

Britney Shamshir - Haram
Britney Spears - Healthy
Spears Britney - Healthy
Shakespeare Brit - Healthy
Francois Lance - Healthy
American-ish Pocket Knives - Healthy
My ears - Not Healthy
Now it's a black eyed peas song
That's kinda what I was thinking, lol.
haha that’s exactly what it is no way
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omg
hey. mind ur business.
The fact that it’s mostly in a major key but still sounds this unnerving
Nine inch nails moment
Ahahaha best comment 😂
It's because of the mode.
It feels like it never resolves on the tonic note
Why is that?
Ah yes, anxiety in musical form. Most exquisite.
Cheerful in creepy way...
It's a bag of 50 candies. 49 without drugs.
@norai.5826 A bag of 50s candy is so oddly specific, yet so Fing accurate...
it’s like the music form of le bonheur
first 14 seconds got me petrified, frozen in fear, shivering my timbers.
it makes me so happy this is the least anxiety inducing thijg ive ever heard and i have crippling chronic anxiety 😂
Britney Shamshir, real name Malika Abadi, is an Emirati singer born December 2nd, 1981. She achieved worldwide fame for her song Toxic.
Lol
This song is called ‘Nutritious’
“Britney Shamshir” is brilliant
@@danielwiri😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You mean her song cixot
Suddenly middle eastern
The sample that makes up the string riff on the original is actually lifted from an Indian movie
The og sample is from a indian movie, this version is less middle eastern imo hahah
That was my exact first thought. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm down for anything Britney, but this is horrible. There has to be someone, somewhere that can make an acceptable version of this. It should work... just not this one.
But the original sounded middle eastern too...
The original mixing of this song is actually really interesting. Lots of middle eastern and other influences as well

That's because the samples are taken from an Indian song.
When the toxin is actually a good one and you start hearing colors
when its just dopamine lol
This sounds like how my brain would remember a song in my dreams.
The original is a trip, this is the hangover.
I really prefer this one!
The way this actually sounds so happy and dreamy. It's like if "teenage crushes" was a song.
Complete with the anxious undertones of having a crush too!
There’s already Teenage Dream

Flash delirium new stuff??
It’s a St. Vincent song now ❤
