I'm a long suffering tech fan. I doubt it, but it's possible. We haven't had a qb finish a season healthy since Mahomes was here. Those defensive pieces we lost are a big deal. I could see 8-4. The stars would really have to align for a championship to happen. I do think Morton is legit if we can keep him upright.

I don’t know much about TT. But it’s pretty known they have a couple billionaire ex football players that are getting things done. Stadium renovations, 25k for every player and their first ever 5 Star.

I don’t think Texas tech should be a surprise. They have a great coach and honestly a really good and tough team. Their o line is just horrendous. If that improves then idk if I see any big 12 team beating them. Especially next season. I think tech will be an easy top 15 team in the next few years.
Tech fan here. No, tech does not win the Big 12. I wish our fans would stop with this. 7-6 last year. Even with our easy schedule, I think we win 8.
If we can get and keep Morton healthy we have the talent to win 9 or more and win the Big 12 . I don't know if Morton can get or remain healthy . I really don't understand what is wrong with him. Call Brady and ask him for insight? The offensive line has got to improve . They have some pieces if they can put them together. Again Joey and the Team can win. Lets go.

TT hasn't had a starting QB play a complete season since 2016. They have started 3 different QB's in each of the last 3 seasons because of injuries. They just can't stay healthy and build consistency.
